Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou was a perfect experience! A big thank you to Amber for her attentive and thoughtful service throughout our stay. She was incredibly detail-oriented, gentle, and professional. We also received a complimentary afternoon tea and a lovely souvenir. The hotel's design is an elegant Suzhou garden style; every step reveals a new serene and healing view. The breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, and the local noodles, like Suzhou-style noodles, were excellent. I've already recommended it to friends as a great place for a relaxing getaway. We'll definitely be back!

Location: The hotel has a fantastic location, situated right in Uniway (Huan Yu Hui), offering a wide variety of dining options and plenty of coffee shops. There is also a supermarket in Uniway. It's right next to subway and bus stations, making getting around very convenient. Service: Overall, the service was great with prompt responses. The hotel reached out in advance to ask about our check-in time and preferences, and we were added on WeChat ahead of arrival to our butler, Vickey, who was able to resolve our questions and requests in a timely manner. Ambiance: The hotel features a Suzhou classical garden style and is pet-friendly. We chose a twin room with a balcony this time, and the room was very spacious. Facilities: The basic facilities are fine, but the light switches and curtain controls only have icons without text labels, making them a bit hard to figure out the first time you use them.

We stayed at the Kimpton Bamboo Century Suzhou with our elders, and the experience was exceptional. The hotel itself features a traditional Suzhou-style garden setting—it's quiet inside with gentle pathways, making it easy for elderly family members to stroll leisurely and take in the scenery without getting tired. The staff were attentive, friendly, and very gentle in their demeanor. The location is also great, close to Shiquan Street and the Master of the Nets Garden, making getting around very convenient. Choosing to stay here made our trip to Suzhou so comfortable. The elders were extremely satisfied, and I highly recommend it for family trips with older guests.

For this trip to Suzhou, I specifically chose this hotel with classic garden and water features, and it completely blew me away! Walking through the door felt like stepping into an idyllic Jiangnan retreat—white walls, dark-tiled roofs, little bridges over flowing streams, and koi fish swimming leisurely in the ponds. Surrounded by the gentle sounds of water and chirping birds, I immediately felt worlds away from the city's hustle and bustle. My room faced the garden courtyard directly. Opening the window revealed lush greenery and rippling waters; in the morning, the sunlight danced on the pond's surface—it was so peaceful and therapeutic. Sitting on the balcony sipping tea, reading a book, and admiring the garden plants made time feel like it had slowed down. Cherry was incredibly warm and attentive, always checking in to see if we needed anything. The breakfast was delicate and exquisite, featuring authentic local Suzhou pastries and traditional noodle soup, which tasted wonderful. The location is also very convenient, just a short distance from the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Lion Grove Garden. After a day of sightseeing, sitting in the hotel’s courtyard with a cup of tea was pure bliss. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Suzhou!

This hotel was by far the best part of my trip to Suzhou! The location is fantastic—right in the old town and close to the classical gardens, making it super easy to head back after sightseeing. Although the hotel is only three stories high, it doesn't feel basic at all; instead, it has the charming, elegant vibe of a traditional Jiangnan courtyard. It's completely different from the modern feel of the Industrial Park, and I absolutely loved the ambiance. The room comes with a balcony, which was the main reason I booked it. It was wonderful soaking up the sun there during the day and enjoying the hotel's night view in the evening—it really had a cozy, lived-in feel. The interior was very comfortable, clean, and bright, with great attention to detail. Cherry provided exceptional service; she was as warm and welcoming as a friend, making me feel right at home. Breakfast included local Suzhou specialties like pastries and noodle soup. Overall, whether it was the location, setting, service, or breakfast, everything exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel has a great environment, and the breakfast was quite unique. The garden landscape is lovely—it truly lives up to its name as a scenic hotel. Vickey also provided very attentive service. The only downside was that the room lighting was quite dim, especially near the entrance, making it hard to see when packing up our belongings.

Traveling with family and our furry friends, I booked three rooms, including a special pet-friendly room, and the overall stay was excellent! I contacted the butler, Amber, via WeChat beforehand to discuss our needs. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a custom hand-drawn welcome card for our dog, which was a lovely touch and showed great attention to detail. It was during the peak National Day holiday, and the hotel was fully booked. After the rooms were cleaned, the butler proactively delivered the room cards to us, saving us the hassle of going to the front desk. The service was attentive and thorough. The pet-friendly room was well-equipped with thoughtful amenities, including a dedicated pet mat, water bowl, and pet waste bags. The room was bright with excellent natural light throughout, the silent air conditioning maintained a comfortable temperature, and there was ample storage space. The entire room was spotlessly clean, earning full marks for tidiness, making for a very comfortable living experience. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of clean and palatable options that met our daily needs. My only minor suggestion is to hopefully see an improvement in the pet policy in the future. Currently, pets are not allowed in the restaurant, which is a bit inconvenient when traveling with pets. Overall, the experience was great, and I look forward to the hotel continuing to optimize its services. We will definitely be back with our family and furry friends!

The most delightful surprise of this stay was Cherry's thoughtful room upgrade. The moment I opened the door, I felt instantly soothed. The room with a balcony faced a private, man-made garden waterscape. In the morning, I watched the mist float on the water, and in the evening, I listened to the wind rustling through the treetops. Even just zoning out became incredibly pleasant. The room's amenities were full of clever touches: the bedding was made of skin-friendly, high-thread-count cotton, feeling like sinking into a cloud. All drinks in the minibar were complimentary, and even the capsule coffee machine was stocked with different flavored capsules. The best part was the rattan lounge chair and small tea table on the balcony. Curled up there in the evening, watching the waterscape lights come on, with a cup of tea by my side, even time seemed to slow down. From the service to the smallest details, every aspect of this stay made me feel comfortable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. The restaurant environment was bright and airy. As soon as I walked in, I was drawn to the dazzling array of food stations – from freshly cooked Suzhou-style noodles and pan-fried buns, to Western options like fried eggs, bacon, and sausages, as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and freshly ground coffee. The variety was so extensive it made choosing difficult.

I only stayed one night at the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou, but the experience was exceptional, far exceeding my expectations. The hotel's overall design is elegant, perfectly blending traditional 'Zhuhui' (bamboo grove) elements with modern aesthetics. The public areas are quiet and stylish. The room facilities were excellent; the bedding was soft and comfortable, soundproofing was great, and the bathroom featured a wet/dry separation. The toiletries were high-quality, and the mini-bar offered a good selection of drinks, making for a very convenient and relaxing stay. Breakfast offered a wide variety, with both Suzhou-style flavors and Western options, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I especially want to thank Vickey, our concierge, who proactively contacted me before check-in to confirm my needs. When she learned I wanted to do a travel photoshoot, she immediately helped arrange the time. The next day, realizing the photoshoot was scheduled for the afternoon, Vickey took the initiative to arrange a late check-out for me. This meant I didn't have to rush and could leisurely finish the shoot before returning to my room to pack. Throughout my stay, Vickey was incredibly responsive on WeChat for any questions, and even helped deliver takeout to my room. All requests were handled thoughtfully and seamlessly. This kind of proactive service, anticipating guests' needs, truly put me at ease. The hotel's facilities and service are top-notch. One night wasn't enough! If I have the chance to visit Suzhou again, I will definitely choose this hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with attentive service.
