The room was spacious and comfortable, clean and quiet. However, there was a group of American middle school students in the hotel when we checked in, so we had to pack breakfast and eat it in the room.

Parking felt safe and easy. Need a key card but can also use digital key.
It doesn’t hurt to ask, but depending on room availability like when I checked in. They let me check in early before 3 pm. And honestly, my flight to get to this hotel and this destination of mine left at 6 am. So I was honestly appreciating the early check in. Allowed me to nap. Might’ve been low quality but better than nothing!

Stayed here to go to my granddaughter's gymnastics competition at the convention center. Hotel is OK but nothing really great. Very noisy all night from noise outside such as trains and sirens. Also could not really watch tv because the sound was so distorted. My daughter and her family stayed in another room and had to move because of the intense moldy smell in the original room. Probably would stay elsewhere such as the Marriott next time.

After the recent remodel, this is a great, affordable option. The on site restaurant and bar is fantastic, and the rooms are fresh and comfortable. They did a great job updated this property and is now my go to hotel with an awesome location as well being close to bars and restaurants.

The value of the Hilton Garden Inn Tacoma Downtown was phenomenal. The two queen room was spacious, there were multiple places to sit aside from the beds, and the room in general (bathroom as well) did not feel cramped. There were plenty of area attractions nearby within walking distance, and the self parking fee was very reasonable.

We love staying at this hotel! My only complaint is that shower was not hot enough. It was a little bit warmer than luke warm
