CHECK inn Taipei Songjiang

The room is quite spacious. It appeared clean overall. However later I found there were stains over towels and bedsheet. I saw on google map review about some flushing problem of the toilet. I thought it shouldnt be too serious. But I was wrong. It is really quite difficult to flush, even though I didnt use much tissue paper. And on the first day of my stay, the elevator went out of order. I needed to walk 10 flights of stairs to go back to my room. And there were a few dead cockroaches on the staircase. Luckily the elevator was fixed after a few hours.

The hotel is conveniently located near Xingtian Temple Metro Station, with 7-Eleven, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, and Carrefour all within walking distance. The location is quite convenient for getting around and for picking up daily necessities. The room layout was well designed for a twin room, with a practical and comfortable arrangement. The hotel also provides basic amenities such as towels, shampoo, shower gel, and bedroom slippers. However, the room lighting was quite dim, especially around the washing basin. The biggest downside was the road noise. Despite staying on the 9th floor, the traffic noise was still very loud and noticeable throughout the stay. I would not recommend this hotel for light sleepers.

The staff was kind, hotel was clean, the location was good (it was close to the MRT and somewhat in the middle of everything), there is a 7/11 and a Starbucks nearby, wich was a total lifesaver for me 🙌 The temple nearby is beautiful and an interesting spot to visit. Overal i enjoyed my stay, i would dedienetly reccomend this hotel for solo travelers like myself

Great location, next to metro, Starbucks and 7-11. Very clean and comfortable, has all the facilities that we needed, nice helpful staff, good value of money.

The sound insulation is so bad ; was woken up constantly by the doors banging by the surrounding rooms. There is minimal services and amenities.  This ( hostel )just for convenience and quick access to nearby mrt stop and buses; and for those who need a quick short stay in taipei with affordable rates. I found the day rates were actually much cheaper than trip.com’s booking…

Nice and clean. Toilet has a handheld bidet sprayer which is a must for me. Hot shower is great. Staff are polite and helpful. Very close to MRT station and several convenient stores. Good price.
