This place perfectly embodies the new slang term 'Ipbeolgu' (someone who spouts lies every time they open their mouth). They have signs everywhere in the common areas saying that if you're even one minute late for checkout, they'll charge you for a full hour, costing 200 ********* dollars. They nitpick every little thing, constantly looking for ways to extract money, and never take responsibility for their own mistakes. They're just greedy, low-class swindlers. I thought it was just one staff member, but then the manager replied to my email two days after my checkout time (an hour and a half late), asking for screenshots, LOL. They kept refusing my request to cancel the reservation on Trip.com the day before, then claimed it was their day off – a complete lie! I complained, and they told me that the ******* staff member (named Ewa) and the F&B manager would be working the next day, right? I even kept the Post-it note as proof, LOL. Where did they sell their conscience? They're spouting such ridiculous lies! Seeing the manager lie too, it's clear they're all cut from the same cloth. The fact that they replied an hour and a half after checkout asking for screenshots is truly shady and shows they've completely thrown trust out the window, LOL. Trip.com, who did nothing wrong, ended up refunding me. I traveled through China before coming to Taiwan, and the difference in people's character is just immense. It's truly exhausting how they nitpick and quibble over every single little thing. Both China and Taiwan are considered the same region, yet there's such a difference. I guess it's due to environmental and geographical factors, right? I felt like mainland China, the 'big brother,' was taking care of its 'less fortunate younger sibling.' LOL. It's their own doing that they made me think this way, LOL. It was a really unpleasant experience, but Trip.com's response resolved it well, and because of this incident, I'll probably only use Trip.com going forward.

I arrived after check-in time, but there was an alternative check-in method available. There are separate floors for men and women. Although there's only one toilet, slippers are provided. Both the bathroom and common areas were very clean and tidy. There's also a laundry room. They offer both private and shared rooms, and I slept well. I'd definitely go back again!

This place is very close to the World Trade Center and Linjiang Night Market. There are many food and drink options on the street opposite, making it super convenient for solo travelers to experience local life and culture during a short stay. Unfortunately, light sleepers might find it unsuitable as the sounds of doors opening or showering are quite loud. Overall, though, it was a good and very safe experience!

Clean and the staff were friendly. The hairdryer was really good, by the way! 😂

This time, I stayed in a bunk bed (upper bunk) in a shared 4-person room with a shared bathroom. The personal space was quite generous. There were three outlets and a small light above the headboard. Each bunk had a locker for luggage. The room itself was small, but the bunk felt surprisingly spacious. There were only three showers and three toilets, which felt a bit limited. I could sleep soundly without earplugs or an eye mask, as it was pretty quiet. I checked in on a Friday night.

No elevator and the room isn't very big. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, so if you're sensitive to cold, you might want to bring an extra blanket. The hot water is really hot and has great pressure. It's very clean and well soundproofed! Highly recommended!
