hotel is close to the border. room is quite clean.

We were missing body wash and never got it taken up. But hotel food was good and loved the aviance. Some loud people at 3am but other then that everything was great

Nice hotel which is in a great location. Most guests are here, like myself, for medical reasons. It is in a safe location and has security at the entrance. Rooms have English channels; make sure to check the English options box on the TV so you hear in English, or most of them will just stay in Spanish. The beds are hard, and the pillows are like bricks. I have stayed here before and was hoping it was just my room. It isn't. No microwaves, unless you upgrade the room. Shampoo and conditioner are available in the shower attached to the wall. The conditioner is useless; it makes your hair feel like wire. None of the wall containers are easy to extract liquid from; they appear to be blocked. Bring your own. I had a few issues on my last stay and was promised they would make it up to me if I stayed again. Guess what!! They didn't care or acknowledge it. Overall, a nice place.

Lovely place will always stay here when I am in town. Friendly staff. Great food. Centrally located and walkable. Pharmacy, food, spa are located with or near here

My experience at the Quartz Hotel in Tijuana was extremely disappointing and left me with the clear impression that guests are treated differently based on how wealthy or socially important they appear. Although the hotel markets itself as a luxury property, the service suggested that unless you look like you belong to a higher social class, you may not receive the respect and courtesy that every paying guest deserves. I paid for a massage, and I will say that the service was outstanding. The therapist was professional, attentive, and provided an excellent experience. Our breakfast server was also genuinely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, a man who appeared to be a restaurant supervisor had a cold, arrogant, and unfriendly attitude that completely changed the atmosphere. What was most offensive was the total lack of basic hospitality. We were not greeted when we arrived, and no one acknowledged us when we left. It felt as though we were invisible, or worse, judged as not important enough to warrant common courtesy. The impression we were left with is that perhaps we did not appear to fit the image of guests they consider worthy of attention. For a hotel that presents itself as upscale and sophisticated, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. Luxury is not defined by architecture or decor it is defined by how guests are treated. In this case, the attitude was elitist, dismissive, and unprofessional. In short: excellent massage service, one kind breakfast server, but an overall atmosphere of snobbery, poor customer service, and unpleasant attitudes. We left feeling ignored, unwelcome, and disrespected.

Overall, the service and the people at this hotel are exceptional. Where I would score them down as the quality of the food in the Boca restaurant and the general lack of gratitude for the amount of money that we spend at this hotel every month.
