What a lovely hotel! It is a bit far from the center of Tralee, but a short taxi ride away. You can walk around the grounds- be sure to see the beehives! The food is excellent- and breakfast is included in your room charge. The service is very good. There are little seating nooks in the lobby where you can enjoy a cup of tea and just read. They have bicycles for your use as well. The rooms are large and well furnished. I enjoyed my stay there immensely!

We attended the hotel for our son Emmet Lundy & Neasa O Dea’s wedding. From the time we arrived on the 14th of August we were treated like royalty. The wedding took place on the 15th of August. We were taking some family photos when the owner Padraig and the Manager Thys came and introduced themselves to us. As a former hotel manager myself I thought it was a lovely personal touch. The ceremony room was spectacular and drinks on the Pavilion also as we had a gorgeous sunny day. Thys was on hand all day. He managed the service of the meal so perfectly. All the staff were fantastic. I have not seen such well coordinated service in a long time. The meal what can I say was out of this world. I’d give it 10 stars it was so good. Overall it was one of the best weddings I’ve ever attended and one of the best days of our lives. We took a stroll the following morning after a beautiful freshly cooked breakfast and again Thys was on hand checking on everything. Everything was absolutely perfection from the moment we arrived! The place is stunning and kept immaculately clean,, the staff are helpful and pleasant, the food is the best we've had in any hotel and the spa is just next level relaxation! The rooms are also just so beautiful.We were sad to leave

We had a gorgeous Mam’s day off in Ballygarry, we availed of the spa package, 3 treatments and lunch. We had a delicious lunch in the Brasserie after our spa treatments. Top drawer service from Nuala and we all left revived and rejuvenated. Thanks all. ❤️

The Ballygarry never disappoints. It is luxurious, yet warm & welcoming. It is a home away from home. We are international guests from the U.S. who never miss a chance to stay at the Ballygarry. The owner, Padraig McGillicuddy, along with his amazing staff are exceptional. Owen, Oisin, Nuala, Noreen, & Cathal, to name a few, are all excellent in the field of hospitality. The amazing people that work at the Ballygarry are what make it memorable & guarantee a return visit. The food is high quality & delicious, especially the Sea Bass & the Full Irish Breakfast. Exploring the grounds on foot or by bicycle and availing of the gym & spa are all recommended. The Ballygarry is top notch. You won’t find a nicer hotel anywhere in the world!

This hotel surpassed all of my expectations. We are from Wexford and came from a five star hotel during our holiday but Ballygarry was much more quaint and personal than the hotel we came from. We loved the little cubby holes/ rooms around the hotel where you could just chill and have a drink, rather than being in the bar (we had a toddler and baby with us). The food was superb as were the drinks. The spa: omg I had a seaweed bath with my husband. I thought it was going to be ‘notions’ but I genuinely felt like I was floating on air. The spa itself is beautiful with such pleasant landscaping, a little peace of heaven. To top it all off the wood walk around the hotel makes you feel like a child again exploring all of the different routes. Will defo be back at some stage to recharge again. Highly recommend this hotel!
