Service and room are good. A quiet and Japanese-styled hotel and great onsen. Quite a lot of insects because it is inside mountain. Location is quite far. Tourists with car are better. But generally still recommend the place.

I think that the service was very good and so was the staff. The choice of onsens provided was very nnice too. But the view is definetly the best for me

It is the excellent hotel that we enjoyed the stay so much. Will definitely come back again if we visit this area later. We would like praise a staff called Maria who provided a lot of valuable assistance to us. My kids liked her very much, too!

第一晚住大正屋椎葉山莊、第二晚大村屋，都是基礎房型，正好可以做個對比：
房間：大村屋寬敞些，但椎葉房間有私湯，泡湯更方便。
餐食：早餐椎葉豐富，晚餐差不多。
泡湯：椎葉入住後泡了一次公共湯，一人獨享，環境很好；大村屋免費泡了一次私湯，公共湯沒去。
服務：日本温泉旅館的服務基本都是很不錯的，退房後開車送到大村屋。
護膚品：椎葉房間有洗顏、化粧水和乳液，大村屋私湯房有但房間沒有。
美中不足，兩家都沒有夜宵拉麪，也沒用泡湯出來的牛奶/養樂多/冰棒。

相比本館，椎葉在山上，雖然交通不便，但更靜謐，房間非常大，有和室洋室兩間，河景房帶私湯，也是温泉水，窗外景色非常好，能看到小瀑布，我們這天正好下雪，簡直美極了，一泊二食，早餐是自助式的，大堂咖啡可可等可盡情享用，泡湯有2個，酒店內這個較小，有室內外，往外走一個比較大（但對外開放，下面的本館也會有住客來泡）也有室內外湯，這次正好遇上下雪天，看着雪景泡着温泉，簡直太愜意了，唯一的缺點就是房間太冷！還好被子夠厚
