This is a great hostel! It's a former church, so it has a lot of character. Self check-in was very convenient. The location is excellent, right at the entrance to the old town, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the ladder to the top bunk felt a bit dangerous.

The old church has been converted into shared sleeping pods. I made a mistake selecting the room. These aren't rooms, but stacked cubicles, roughly 1x2x1 meter. I really don't know how they got 3 stars. The positive side is that it's clean and right in the center of Utrecht.

Accommodation in Utrecht is really expensive, and this was the cheapest place I could find that was also relatively close to the train station. I didn't have high expectations initially, but when I arrived, I saw two very fancy outfits displayed at the entrance, and I realized this place was more than it seemed. It operates as a hostel, a bar, and a restaurant, and there's even a study area on the ground floor.
A quick search revealed that this place is a converted church, and it's hard to imagine having the experience of staying a night in a church. Since I needed to work, I went to the study area in the evening and stayed until midnight. The restaurant had already closed, and everything was very quiet, creating a truly unique atmosphere.
Then, when I woke up the next morning and looked downstairs, the ground floor was already full of people working – so diligent!
P.S. Both check-in and check-out are self-service, making it an introvert-friendly hostel. If I ever get the chance to visit Utrecht again, I would definitely consider staying here.

The location is amazing, and the repurposed building is a novel experience. The staff was super friendly and provided all the necessary information. The shared room was well thought out, with private curtains, and the shared bathroom was always clean and with plenty of available spaces.

Easily one of the best hostels I have stayed in the Netherlands! It's super close to Catherijine mall and the train station, with the old city just a few minute walk away.
The staff is really nice and friendly, they even helped me to keep my luggage for free for a few hours. Downstairs is a nice bistro, and they even had a small live music event in one of the days I stayed.
The pods are well equipped, amusingly so with an RGB adjustable light inside. The beds were already made (which is not so common in European hostels) too. There were several pods in the room, but it is well insulated from noise so it doesn't really matter. Bathrooms+WC was also really clean, which is great especially considering it was shared among many others. Easy 5/5 rating.

An absolutely stunning hotel! The experience was flawless from start to finish. The menu is refined and delicious, and the service is beyond exceptional with a highly trained, kind, and attentive staff at all times. The bathrooms were spotless, and the towels wonderfully soft. I truly enjoyed my two day stay here and will definitely come back soon.
