The room isn't big, but it's very clean, and the staff are friendly. They clean the room and change towels daily. Although it's two rooms sharing a bathroom, the setup is quite reasonable, so it barely affects anyone. The hotel's biggest advantage is its location; it's very close to Gastown, Canada Place, Chinatown, the Art Gallery, and more, all within walking distance. It's also very close to the SkyTrain station. This is definitely a hotel I'd choose again when I return to Vancouver.

Great location, close to Yale Town, Gastown, Canada Place, Stanley Park, Chinatown, etc. There's a station nearby, making transportation convenient. T&T and IGA supermarkets are just a 7-8 minute walk away, and there are plenty of dining options like Udon noodles and Jam Cafe close by. Great location! It's within walking distance to the beach, and you can also easily get to the big football statue. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby, plus a 7-Eleven convenience store.

Vancouver's hotel prices are really high, so I booked a room without a private bathroom. The shared bathrooms weren't cleaned often enough; even though there weren't many people using them, they still weren't very clean. One time, there was no shower gel, but luckily I'm a guy so it wasn't a big deal. Also, the gap under the door was quite large, so soundproofing and light blocking weren't great.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Willo (which was renamed from YWCA Hotel after we booked). Nice they offered free coffee and tea in the morning. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in the storage room, before we went discovering the city. It seems like they have just renovated and also exchanged the bath amenities to new ones while we were there. We booked the room with the shared bathroom, which also connects to another room. You can lock the bathroom from both sides, so this worked well for us. We were looking for the best price-quality ratio of a hotel that is centrally located and it really is. We arrived using the airport train and walked to the hotel. The Vancouver Stadium is just across the street so very convenient for the people looking for accommodation for the World Cup. In fact we could also see the stadium from our hotel room. Highly recommend this place!

Very nice staff at reception. Rooms have been recently refurbished and are very comfortable. Every floor has its own eating room as it is a former YWCA. Very close to both BC Place and Rogers Arena and downtown

A cosy room with comfortable beds. The well equipped kitchen is definitely a bonus. Eating breakfast quietly next to the bc place, a city landmark is awesome.
