Fairfield Inn & Suites Watertown Thousand Islands

Very nice and quite and clean

The standard mid-level hotels are represented in Watertown, NY. I landed at the Fairfield based on the generally positive reviews. Here are a few of the pros and cons: Pros: - Quiet surrounding area, away from the main route and highway. - Mobile check-in worked perfectly. It's one of the few Marriott properties that delivered the key before check-in time. - Clean, but the furniture and television are definitely showing their age. - A few chain restaurants are within a 15-minute walk. - Complimentary parking and basic breakfast. Cons: - The one-bedroom suite does not have a door between the bedroom and living room. - Like most Marriott hotels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are in permanent bottles. However, the body wash was empty. - The room smelled a bit musty and stale; it could have used an air freshener. The aging furniture reinforced the notion that the hotel is heading toward a refresh. - Low in-room lighting. Additional options would help illuminate the room. I wanted a clean, predictable stay at the Fairfield Watertown delivered exactly that - nothing more, nothing less.

I had a very positive stay. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I slept really well. I especially appreciated how seriously the staff took my special request, which made me feel safe and well cared for. The front desk staff were friendly, kind, and sincere. I was treated very well, and I also witnessed the staff showing genuine kindness to families and other guests. There was a really good energy throughout the hotel. The cookies at check-in were a lovely touch, too! I also appreciated being able to open the windows and having a small fridge in the room. Overall, it was a comfortable, peaceful stay, and I would be happy to return.

Our bus group stayed there after visiting the 1,000 Islands on Sunday, June 28 - WOW - super wonderful and helpful staff. Cookies in the lobby. It was very enjoyable and the service was above and beyond and they made us feel so valued! Thank you so much.

Clean hotel. Modern. My wife and I stayed here one night before heading to Alexandria Bay the next day to go to Boldt Castle. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't very tasty but it did the job. Didn't try pool. But I liked the beds. I would stay here again.

We have returned to this hotel many times, and it is always a friendly, reliable, and convenient stop on our way across NY state. This time was no exception!

Great location. Quiet. Beautiful room with everything available, couch,TV,frig, microwave, lotions, etc. And cookies in the lobby.

room spotless....but could not turn down cooling ..brrr. staff very accommodating...i love waffles and the cookies.... few rooms rented but noise esp. in the morning if a full house would be very disconservative.

Could have used some lotion. But everything else was perfect about the room, pool and staff
