Homewood Suites by Hilton @ the Waterfront

Excellent service from all the staff, they are all very friendly. I must mention receptionists, Sage, Demetri and Aidan for treating us so well with thoughtful touches. Thank you. Room was light and airy, well equipped. Would have liked an outdoor pool as we there in extreme heat but we knew there wasn't one when we booked. Enjoyed a lovely walk from the hotel around different paths. A very enjoyable stay.

Whenever we go to Wichita, we don't even consider going to any other hotel than the Waterfront! It is very clean. The breakfast is complimentary, and it is amazing! There are so many different food choices, including scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon or sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, and the list goes on! The seating area for breakfast is huge and is a great place to use during the day, as well. There is a large patio area looking out onto a beautiful lake with a gazebo and several chairs that can be used to enjoy the beauty of that area. We always feel safe in this location, and with the patio area, it is just a very relaxing place to be. There are also several restaurants nearby. We really appreciated Jesse at the front desk for being so friendly and helpful during our stay.

I arrived and the room that I was asked to prepay for in order to guarantee a walk in shower for my dad was of course not available. No one willing to do anything to accommodate the need. Offering things that do not help. Telling me I booked wrong I called the wrong number - as usual the customer is at fault. Telling me the only way they can help me is for me to call the 1800 number and spend hours of my vacation on the phone talking to someone who also gives me the run around. So tired of awful customer service and then being expected to be nice and calm. So not stay at the Waterfront Hilton if you want good customer service !!!! If you wanted to be treated like a number and a profit then I am sure it’s fine. Even has a sign that they will help but of course that is a run around as well. “Well we can’t really make the rooms free” what the hell !!!

It's a great property, not much else to say, but I will. The property and the grounds are quite nice and attractive. The rooms, and public spaces are very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And, the convenience that rooms with a kitchenette provides, makes long stays a lot more suitable.

This place was hands down the best place we have stayed in. The entire place is spotless! you can see it as you are driving to it. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Over the phone and in person. The gentleman who checked us in, pronounced my last name correctly. That was big for me since in most locations there is no Spanish speaking people. The Kitchen staff was on point! The ladies would help us pick up our plates; they had that breakfast hot and ready. I loved that the breakfast area was so clean. There were several people eating breakfast and there was no spills or food on the floor. The buffet area was so clean and organized. Even though the ladies were bringing dishes out and making sure everything was clean and organized, they were not in the way they did not look upset or like they just woke up. I was so impressed by the kitchen staff, how clean it was & how clean and presentable the ladies looked as well, and they were all smiling. I definitely will be coming back with my family!

We really enjoyed the clean room and updated/nice common areas. Also really like that they have a room option with multiple bedrooms - a great feature many hotels don't offer.

Ilona the receptionist who took care of my booking was not only knowledgeable but very detailed and very helpful. My booking experience was just awesome! I told her that from now on, we'll be using this hotel for our stay.

The staff were so unbelievably friendly and helpful, the property was stunning and the rooms extremely comfortable. Thank you!

This was the most perfect hotel for my family of four. My two young boys loved using the pool. Having the kitchen was really helpful and the property is extremely clean and really pretty views. It is a great location with access to everything you could need. The staff was incredibly gracious as well. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Wichita, especially if you have younger kids. The buffet breakfast changed slightly everyday and was always fresh and hot. So many great choices for even the pickiest eaters. My only downside was the bedding. The beds were comfortable, but I feel like for a place like that, the sheets and the bedding should’ve been a higher quality.
