Hilton Wuhan Riverside

This is by far the worst Hilton I have ever experienced. The food is extremely poor, and after 9:30 pm there are almost no dining options available (not even something as basic as a hamburger). The rooms are acceptable in size but already look old, and you cannot control the room temperature. The hotel decides to keep it hot, even if you specifically request a cooler room. We had four rooms and requested during the reservation that they be kept cool, but clearly no one even read our request. Around 3:00 am, I woke up sweating and had to move my bed just to try to catch some airflow from the AC vent. Their absurd solution was to bring me a fan because they said the AC is centrally controlled and cannot be adjusted. This is unacceptable for a hotel under the Hilton brand. Definitely the worst Hilton I have visited. If you are a foreign traveler, look for another option. This hotel is not for you!!

My stay at Hilton Wuhan Riverside was wonderful! 🏙️ The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and boasted a stunning view of the Yangtze River by day and dazzling building lights with the bridge sparkling at night. 🌊🌃 The gym was well equipped with free water and towels adding a nice touch. 💪 Breakfast was included but the food felt basic, leaning heavily local with little international variety and no daily changes. 🍽️ The shower was tricky, either scalding hot or cold with no middle ground. 🚿 Management provided excellent service, outshining the regular receptionists who could be friendlier to make guests feel more welcomed. 😊 Overall the incredible views and clean comfortable room made this a memorable stay and I’d recommend it for the riverside vibes! 🌍 #HiltonWuhanRiverside #TravelMemories

Great hotel and great stay! Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is very complete and with a great view. Would stay here again

Very nice hotel offering everything you need. Metro close, about a 5 min walk and also lots of eating opportunities around. Small supermarket also close.

The first Hilton Hotel in China which really disappointed me: - First evening: After shower my Food order from outside (Waimai) arrived at the lobby and I called the front desk to deliver to the room (they agreed). After 25 minutes I called them again and they said it will be arranged now. After another 15 minutes I called them again I will dress again and come down by myself - just than a staff delivered my food which was already cold. - Second evening: I asked for new towels to my room and they agreed but never brought them. - Third evening: I called them to deliver my food and it took again too long time so I went down to pick it up by myself. - Every day I took a taxi or came back to the hotel no one opened the door and even when I checked out no one helped me with my luggage (this is not a Hilton standard). - The gym has no mirrors in the training area and the training equipment is not good respectively there is no equipment for training lower back or lower legs which is not 5 star standard at all. Very small gym and it makes no fun to work out there… - One positiv Point: The breakfast is OK. Summary: I will not come back.
