East Lake Hotel

The service was excellent and the environment was top-notch. It's also a place Chairman Mao visited 48 times. As a local Wuhan resident, it was my first time bringing my parents here, and they both said it was well worth it. The only downside is that the room facilities are quite old, which is understandable, but the bathroom had a strong odor at night.

The rooms are a bit old, typical of state-owned enterprise guesthouses. I heard they're planning to close for renovations soon. However, the internal greenery and service are genuinely excellent. East Lake is completely uncrowded, and there's a shuttle bus to take you around. I saw many records of famous people visiting, making it feel like walking in the footsteps of great figures. I loved it, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Wuhan!

I chose to stay at Tingtao No. 2 after reading some reviews. While the facilities are old, they are clean, which is understandable given the age of the building. However, upon arrival, I was informed that Chairman Mao's memorial hall was under renovation. This is something the hotel should have communicated in advance, especially since it's a major highlight they advertise. If I had known, I would have chosen a better hotel. Breakfast only runs until 9:30 AM. For a late riser like me, I had to drag myself out of bed to eat before going back to sleep 🥱 Most hotels serve breakfast until 10 AM, so a little extension would be great. The hotel is very close to the museum and East Lake, within easy walking distance. There are also shuttle buses available on call. Downsides: The soundproofing is terrible. Any noise from people passing by and talking will wake you up. This is probably another drawback of the hotel's age.

I returned home for the Mid-Autumn Festival to spend time with my parents. I managed to snag a great deal on a twin room through Ctrip. I initially thought that because it was a special offer, the room might be on a lower, less desirable floor. However, the kind staff arranged for us to stay on the second floor, in a very bright and airy spot. My parents were extremely satisfied, finding it even more comfortable than the two nights we'd previously spent at Nanshan Yisu!

The environment is fantastic, my child loved it. I'll definitely bring my parents here to stay next time, especially for the buffet – the food was delicious. It's also right next to East Lake Scenic Area, which made sightseeing very convenient.

An excellent hotel, a natural oxygen bar, a great place for a getaway by car. The entrance is a bit hidden due to its large area. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, this is truly a wonderful and distinctive hotel.

Wuhan offers a truly fantastic experience. Visiting the former residences of revolutionary pioneers and great leaders left me feeling incredibly inspired. The environment here is exceptionally elegant and tranquil, with lush, dense trees and beautiful, pleasant lake views.

The environment at Donghu Hotel is excellent. It's quiet inside and clean and tidy outside, with fantastic greenery. It's not far from the museum, but the park grounds are so large that it's easy to get lost, so driving would be much more convenient.

My stay at Donghu Hotel was a truly delightful experience, like embarking on a tranquil journey away from the hustle and bustle of the city and closer to the beauty of nature. Every single detail showcased a unique charm, filling me with pleasant surprises and immense satisfaction.
