The Westin Xi’an（2-min walk to UNESCO Wild Goose Pagoda & 15min to Shaanxi History Museum）

Honestly, this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. I had seen very negative reviews about it on Xiaohongshu, mainly saying it was too old, and Ctrip also listed it as a 2012 hotel. However, my actual stay found it quite new, and none of those mentioned flaws were present. I initially booked it just for its convenient location, expecting a 150-yuan experience for a 1500-yuan price. Yet, the overall actual feeling was comparable to the Seven Oceans Hotel in Xiamen. The room had a bidet, a large bed, welcome fruit, and they even offered a complimentary breakfast for my child. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. In short, all the negative reviews on Xiaohongshu were completely unfounded; it was far beyond what I expected. The only minor drawback was finding a hair on a bath towel when I opened it, but I won't dwell on that.

As a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I stay at Marriott properties dozens of times a year. This hotel is by far the worst I've ever experienced, no exaggeration. A star-rated hotel that completely disregards how guests arrive or depart when there's a road restriction is unacceptable. The staff's only response was, "You have to walk, sorry." Yes, you *should* be sorry! I have to walk hundreds of meters to catch a taxi when staying at a hotel, and the staff didn't even offer to help with luggage or load it into the car. Seriously, **do not stay at this hotel.** Otherwise, you'll understand the pain of walking, especially when you have heavy luggage.

First off, the hotel's location is fantastic. It's perfectly situated between the North Square of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, making it super convenient to get to both. You can see the pagoda right outside the door, and exploring Everbright City is a breeze – just turn right when you leave the hotel. Across the street is the Joy City commercial area, so dining options are plentiful. It was incredibly convenient for our family trip with seniors and kids; we could just pop back to the hotel to rest whenever we got tired. Secondly, the hotel service was excellent, truly satisfying. Before we even arrived, a staff member contacted us to explain important traffic control information for the holiday period and even sent us the performance schedule for Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, saving us the hassle of looking it up ourselves. During our stay, our child needed to print daily homework for school, and the hotel staff kindly helped print it every day, which was great. They also upgraded our room, provided two days of breakfast for both kids, and gave us two extra tickets to the Qujiang Museum (B2 level). They were incredibly accommodating with all our requests throughout our stay. I give the service full marks. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Xi'an!

The room was spacious, more than enough for our family of three adults and one child. The breakfast was plentiful. The location is superb, not only close to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, but also with a 7-Eleven, Starbucks, and various dining options at Joy City nearby. Getting around was very convenient.

I had a great stay for a few days. The hotel's location is excellent, making shopping and sightseeing very convenient. I had originally booked a deluxe room, but Nico from guest services upgraded me to a premier room in advance, which was very comfortable and had a great ambiance. Right outside the hotel lobby is a bustling 'sleepless city', which is incredibly convenient. When you're tired from walking, you can immediately return to the hotel to rest, without the hassle of waiting for a car. 👍🏼

Traveling with elderly family members, this hotel's location right by the South Square of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda was perfect. Just a short walk to the attraction, super convenient. Even with all the requests for food delivery and water, the service was always warm and enthusiastic. A special thanks to the young man at the front desk – his proactive and flexible service was outstanding.

There's a Starbucks Reserve on the first floor where you can even find rare whiskey coffee. The room was clean and tidy with a subtle fragrance. The front desk lady who checked us in was very welcoming and patient, and even gave us breakfast vouchers. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, and the staff were professional and enthusiastic. Our two-day stay was fantastic!
