Hampton by Hilton York

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the train station, and taxis are also readily available. The front desk service was excellent, and the room facilities were great. Breakfast was fantastic. It's also within walking distance of York Minster and The Shambles, which is very convenient.

The room was very clean and cozy, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. What really stood out was the breakfast – so fresh! It was my first time making crepes, and I did it right here at the hotel's breakfast buffet! The walk to the station is just ten minutes, super smooth and convenient.

Located in the old city, right across from the train station, this hotel is super convenient for sightseeing – everything's within walking distance. The breakfast was good. It was quite busy, probably because it was a weekend. The air conditioning was a lifesaver with the hot weather.

The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. It's conveniently located near the train station, just a 5-minute walk, and right by the city walls. The surrounding area is a bit secluded; you'll need to walk about ten minutes to find shops. The room itself was a bit small. York's prices are slightly lower than London's.

The hotel is directly opposite the train station. If you're lucky, there's an internal shortcut: just go through the city wall opposite the station, then take the stairs up to the left. Following your GPS works perfectly fine too, it's not a long walk at all. All the main attractions are within walking distance.

The hotel's location is quite convenient. After exiting York station, you just walk around the city walls, and you'll be there in about ten minutes. The room generally felt quite new and very quiet, making for a comfortable stay. York isn't very big to begin with, so all the main attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was definitely enough to fill you up. 👍

The room isn't huge, but its proximity to the train station is a major plus! It's only a four-minute walk from the station to the hotel if you go under the city gate. It's also super convenient to access York's city walls from the hotel!
