Crowne Plaza ZHENJIANG by IHG

The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is quite good. The underground parking spaces are a bit cramped. The room's cleanliness is good. One drawback is that after the air conditioning in the room is turned off, it continues to blow cool air, or perhaps it's the fresh air system, but the noise is quite significant. I hope the hotel addresses this issue.

I was deceived by the positive reviews before, and the following are my personal, honest feelings, stated truthfully. The issues are listed in chronological order, not by severity. 1. I waited for 10 minutes at the hotel lobby entrance at 5 PM. There was no doorman, no greeter, and no one to help with luggage. This doesn't feel like an InterContinental hotel. Several cars were piled up behind us, and one was honking. We had a lot of luggage, and two adults with a child couldn't manage it. Finally, I went into the lobby and asked a cleaning lady to find a staff member. It took her another 5 minutes to find someone, and we finally got a luggage cart… 2. I asked a lobby staff member if I could see the Yangtze River from across the street. Staff member said: “You've asked the right person, I really don't know.” I asked: “What's directly across from the hotel?” Staff member said: “I don't know, I never go outside.” I suggest better training for the staff. 3. The front desk staff handling check-in was arrogant and cold throughout. They didn't proactively offer InterContinental member benefits, and even when asked, they claimed there weren't any. I insisted, saying other hotels provide them and specifying the benefits, before he reluctantly handed over two welcome gift vouchers. 4. The hotel's location is truly not as good as the All Seasons or Hanting in Xijin Ferry. Honestly, if it weren't such a hassle to switch hotels, I would have checked out and gone to All Seasons. 5. My one-year-old child was scared when entering the room and cried, refusing to be left alone. At night, he even talked in his sleep, saying “scared, close the curtains.” As a parent, hearing that broke my heart. The key thing is that my child has visited 15 cities and stayed in over 30 hotels, and this is the first time he's reacted this way. Staying here was a complete waste of one night's room fee; we just slept and left in the morning.

The location is convenient, the facilities are complete, and the service is incredibly thoughtful! They even sent a birthday cake, which was so touching! The pool, with its view of the Yangtze River, was crystal clear.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang was beyond my expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent riverside location, right next to the Binjiang Scenic Belt, making it convenient to visit attractions like Xijin Ferry, Jinshan, and Jiaoshan. I booked a river view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views of the Yangtze River. The room itself was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and the freshly prepared 'Guogai Mian' (pot lid noodles) were authentic and delicious. The hotel amenities are comprehensive, including a heated swimming pool and a gym with direct river views. The staff were warm and polite, check-in was efficient, and they were prompt in responding to requests. This hotel is perfectly suited for both family vacations and business trips. Falling asleep to the river view and experiencing Zhenjiang's unique riverside scenery makes this a top-notch hotel and my preferred choice for future visits to Zhenjiang.

The facilities are complete, the hygiene is clean, the breakfast is rich, and the environment is beautiful. Transportation, shopping, dining, and going to various attractions are all very convenient. It is the best hotel to stay in when traveling to Zhenjiang.

The hotel's location is excellent. The lovely lady at the front desk who checked me in was very nice and patiently helped me connect to the Wi-Fi. Another front desk staff member, Bella, also provided good service. The river view room offered a pretty nice view, and the room was clean and tidy. The only thing that needs improvement is the coverage and reliability of the Wi-Fi connection. The video I uploaded shows the exquisite decorations in the lobby, which are very cute.

The river view is impressive. I asked for a room with a sunset view and they patiently offered two options to choose from. It's super convenient – just cross the road downstairs and you're by the river. In the evening, I walked west to Xijindu Ancient Town, and the next morning, I walked east to Beigushan Mountain. Both were easily accessible on foot.

Five-star review for this Zhenjiang hotel! The location is excellent, and the front desk service is warm and attentive. I really appreciated Tom's service, he was kind and patient. The room was clean and bright, making my trip to Zhenjiang very pleasant.
