In Ulaanbaatar, there is a unique art form - Humming, which has become a treasure that shows the essence of Mongolian culture with its mysterious and shocking charm. Humming is an ancient music form that uses special vocal techniques and one person sings two or more parts at the same time. On the stage in Ulaanbaatar, Humming performances move every audience with their profound connotations, distant artistic conception and shocking power. In addition, Humming performances are often accompanied by Mongolian dances, costumes and other elements, making the whole performance more colorful, lively and interesting. While enjoying the music, the audience can also have a more comprehensive understanding of the cultural traditions and living customs of the Mongolian people.

🇲🇳 Visiting nomadic family

Nomadic families in Mongolia nowadays combine their historical roots with modern reality and although they still living in their way they became much closer to modern life. In Mongolia you can visit such nomadic families and get to know their culture and traditions: what they eat, how their houses look like, how they train eagles and run horses and camels, you can listen to their traditional songs and see their games and even try the traditional clothes! This is a highly recommended thing to do in Mongolia! How to find them if you are staying in Ulaan Bataar? My recommendation is to contact any local travel agency and to go with the guide because nomadic people speak only Mongolian language so you will obviously need a translator. #mongolia #nomadiclife

The Mythical Shambhala 👁️

I have never heard about Shambhala until we arrived in Ulaanbaatar. It was quite a lengthy journey to this mythical place. The first thing we saw was this little building with sleepy eyes and a question mark. We have been told if you look into these eyes, the dot in the center will move, like during hypnosis. And you might see some things regarding your future. Unfortunately, we were exhausted, and none of us could stop and stare since we had our daughter with us. So, this building was an entrance to the world of Shambhala. It was surrounded with these white blocks. It was quite peaceful there. People were lying on the ground inside of a circle that was made from red rocks. We have been told that they were taking energy from mother earth. We decided to to the same and the first thing we saw was the Sun at its zenith with a halo. It was an unforgettable experience. We have spent some time there and kept moving to Khan Bayanzurkh Mountain... #mongolia #shambhala #spiritualjourney #familytrip

This time, I visited a ger where nomads of Ulaanbaatar live! I went because I heard they offer private lodgings, and it was a very enjoyable trip with all the different experiences, from delicious food to traditional clothing! This place is in Ulaanbaatar, so it's easy to get to, and it was great that they picked me up in the city for free! The food was warm and had a very mild flavor! They were also considerate in terms of heating the room, so I was able to stay warm and cozy! Please go and check it out! #0yentravelnovember

A Journey to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

A Journey to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Mongolia 🇲🇳 Ulaanbaatar 🦅 Holding an eagle 🦅 requires constant arm movement to make its wings spread. Is it because the eagle is heavy, or is it just my lack of arm strength? 💪 I tried it four times, and my arm was so sore, all just to get a good facial expression 🥹. The eagle kept hitting my head 😑, leaving me speechless. Thankfully, I finally captured the majestic moment of the eagle spreading its wings 😏. Many people might find this country unfamiliar, as it's often said that Mongolia isn't suitable for independent travel. Most visitors join group tours organized by travel agencies, and self-driving isn't an option like in other countries. The transportation system is quite complex. This was my first time venturing into such an unfamiliar country, feeling both excited and nervous. I wondered if it was as dangerous as people claimed, especially since I traveled alone. I also took on the responsibility of arranging local car rentals and itineraries for my travel companions. During the rest of the time, I explored on my own, embarking on a semi-self-guided adventure. It was a crazy start to the trip, and I feel sorry for worrying those around me 😅.

Ulaanbaatar Theme Park, Mongolia

I stumbled upon this theme park on a map, so I went with my friends! This is Mongolia's only large-scale amusement park, and while it might seem small, it's packed with features. 🎠 Attractions include: a Ferris wheel, coffee cups, swan boats, a pirate ship, a spinning capsule, a castle restaurant 🍴, and a rest pavilion 🛖 The park entrance fee 🎟 is about HK$12, with additional fees for each ride ranging from HK$12 to HK$70. My friend and I only rode the Ferris wheel. Unlike the Ferris wheel in Hong Kong, it has fewer windows, so the wind makes the entire car sway slightly, which is quite thrilling. 🤣 The view from the Ferris wheel over the entire park was amazing. 😌 Although the facilities here are simpler than those in Hong Kong theme parks, they are very Mongolian and have a retro feel. It's definitely a great place to check out. 📸 📍Address - VWXV+J37, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia 🍩Features - 🌕🌕🌕🌖🌑 🌟Ratings - 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑 #Mongolia #MongoliaTravel #Ulaanbaatar #MongolianThemePark #OuterMongolia #MongoliaTravel
