Urban Beach 🏖️

#beachvacation Although I grew up in a province surrounded by Indian ocean 🌊 on two sides with the second longest shore in the world 🌍, there's always one hesitation in going to the beach 🏖️ which is getting into the beach clothes 😁 As I ain't someone with such nice beach body, going to this urban beach during my Sri Lanka visit was totally worth it. You may still get down to the 🪨 rocky places and have fun there in the water though. Resonating with the common beach ⛱️ scenes in the south east Asia, there are lot of small shops setup in van 🚚 with nice delicacies to enjoy 🍦 I'd also applaud the effort in making this place very neat and decent for families to enjoy!! #tripblazers#urbanexplorer#ukcreator #colombo

An unforgettable year 🇱🇰 🇯🇵 🇻🇳

Thank you 2022 for an incredible year! 🇱🇰 Sri Lanka (February-March) This was my first time exploring this incredible country. From the busy streets of Colombo to picturesque train journeys through the tranquil mountains around Ella, from the unique food culture in Jaffna to coconuts on the beaches in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka really has it all. 🇯🇵 Japan (April-) In April (a year delayed thanks to covid), I finally achieved my dream of moving to Japan. After a few days enjoying the cherry blossoms in Tokyo, I traveled south to my new home near Kyoto. These past nine months I've explored all around Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and nearby - with trips further afield planned for 2023! 🇻🇳 Vietnam (September) In September, I took a week's holiday to visit Vietnam. Hanoi was an incredible insight into the culture of this country, while Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh were unmissible opportunities to enjoy the amazing scenery. I ended my trip in Ho Chi Minh City, learning about the history of Vietnam. I'll definitely be back again, particularly to explore central Vietnam's famous culture, sights and nature! #japan #vietnam #srilanka #CelebrateWithTrip #passionpassport #memories

Completed in 1909, Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Colombo. It is located on Second Cross Street in Pettah District, where you can find one of the the largest and busiest open-air markets in Sri Lanka. It is undeniable that the red mosque painted in distinctive red and white striped is the most beautiful landmark in the area. The mosque can be easily reached by both bus and tuk-tuk. Visitors regardless of gender and religion can visit the mosque during certain timings. Remember to dress modestly. The mosque is surrounded by wthe always crowded Pettah Market. A walk through the busy streets filled with merchants selling all kinds of goods is quite an experience itself. 📍228 2nd Cross Street, Colombo 01100, Sri Lanka #thingstodo #srilanka #colombo #mosque #redmosque #market #pettah #pettahmarket #tripblazers

Gem Kingdom--Sri Lanka

Gem Kingdom--Sri Lanka

Gem Kingdom--Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, has a population of over 20 million, with a per capita income of 4000 US dollars. The capital is Colombo Port, an important transportation hub in the Indian Ocean and a major transshipment port globally. The pace of life in Sri Lanka is slow, everything is done leisurely. Sri Lanka is not large in size, but it is one of the three major tea-producing countries in the world. The output value of black tea ranks among the top three in the world, and the tea export volume is the world's first! Sri Lanka has countless high mountain tea gardens, plain lakes, countless temples, various kinds of seas, calm and blue, angry and surging, beautiful as a picture, full of reefs.

Beautiful Panadura Beach- Colombo

My second time visiting Colombo. And everytime when I go there I have to go to this beach few hours before sunset. Having some coconut drinks and sitting there until the sun goes down. Before sunset going down, local people will come out to the beach and gathering, having small talks to each others, playing football, swimming. I just seeing and enjoy seeing how peoples' lives going #staycation

🚅 Due to work reasons, we needed to assist with engineering projects in Sri Lanka. We arrived in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.✈️ We were met at the airport by a local colleague. I had also done some research online. A well-known travel magazine named it the world's top travel destination and one of the five most charming travel destinations in the world. It has also been named a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO. Sri Lanka has abundant tourism resources, from mountain tea gardens to charming beaches, from historical sites to wildlife. Here is a detailed guide I have compiled. If it is helpful to you, remember to like and collect it! Colombo Travel Guide - Attractions and prices: - Independence Square: It is the site of Sri Lanka's independence ceremony on February 4, 1948, and is also a major tourist attraction. The pillars of the memorial hall are engraved with elephants, lions, and patterns depicting Sri Lanka's Buddhist history. There are 60 stone lion statues symbolizing the Sinhalese people around it. Free admission. - Viharamahadevi Park: Colombo's largest park, built by the British, was renamed after Sri Lanka's independence to commemorate the mother of King Dutugemunu.
