Venice is one of the birthplaces of Italian opera and has a rich opera tradition and history. Opera performances in Venice are loved by tourists and music lovers, providing a great opportunity to enjoy classic music and drama. Teatro La Fenice is one of the most famous opera houses in Venice and one of the most historic opera houses in the world. Since its opening in 1792, Teatro La Fenice has witnessed many important opera premieres, including works by famous composers such as Verdi and Rossini. Despite several fires and reconstructions, Teatro La Fenice has maintained its splendor and elegance. In Venice, visitors can enjoy a variety of classic and modern opera productions, and the performance season usually lasts from autumn to spring. In addition to Teatro La Fenice, Venice also has a number of other small theaters and concert halls that regularly host opera and classical music performances. Watching an opera performance in Venice is not only a musical feast, but also an immersive experience in culture and history. Whether it is the gorgeous stage setting, superb singing skills, or the architectural aesthetics of the theater itself, it is unforgettable.

Burano, Venice’s Rainbow Island

Burano, Venice’s Rainbow Island

We took a one-day trip to Burano during our stay in Venice. Burano is well known for its lace sewing, colourful houses, great for photo taking. The island is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It was so relaxing to walk around. Most houses were decorated nicely by the owners with flowers, plants, and colourful painting. We also had delicious seafood at the pier. The deep-fried squid and beer were awesome. This island is easily accessible from Treporti, about 10 minutes. Ambiance/Facilities: 10/10 Rating: 5/5

Hello Beautiful Venice!

#wecreate It is true that Venice is sinking and perhaps, this is part of the reason why people are flocking to this water town. Another reason is also because Venice is so beautiful that everyone wants to see it. Venice is surrounded by water and it is a car free city. Visitors get around either by walking or taking their famous gondolas, which is a transport in venice I would recommend taking as you tour the city. The views are gorgeous and the place is historic with many popular things to see and do. For instance, you can see the Rialto bridge, head to st Mark's square, visit the bell tower Campanile, and many more. You don't have to worry about cafes or restaurants, as there are many in Venice. Stop for meals or a coffee break, explore the pretty city of Venice and take lots of pictures. It's a lovely and beautiful place in Italy.

Venice (Murano), Italy 🇮🇹

Venice (Murano), Italy 🇮🇹

Murano Venice is actually a collection of 7 individual islands, all linked together by bridges. This is the place to go if you're interested in the renowned Murano glass. Most people come here to tour a glass factory and watch a glass-blowing demonstration … and maybe even buy a few hand-blown glass souvenirs. Known for its unique glass art, this island features studios, demonstrations & souvenirs for sale.

Venice (Burano), Italy 🇮🇹

Colorful houses dot this lively fishing island with seafood restaurants, a lace museum & bell tower. Burano is worth visiting for its colourful houses and to see how Venetian lace is made. Burano is quieter than Venice, and most tourists from Venice spend half a day to a day here: a really recommendable visit. Burano is an island in the Lagoon of Venice. It is located to the north of Venice, very near Torcello, and is famous for its lacemaking.

Venice beautiful 🤩

#thingstodo It is undeniable that Venice is one of the beautiful city in the world and this place is also known as the floating city. As there river is surrounding the city inside and there’s loads of Gondola Ride you can try in Venice. The buildings are also gorgeous and colourful with the historical architecture style. I really liked being in this city and one of my favourite bridge in Venice is Rialto Bridge. The white colour style structure made it a combination with the river and the sky. #Venice

📍Venice, Italy ⛴️ You can cross the Grand Canal by taking a water bus, or of course, explore on foot. Riding a gondola is also a unique experience. Since it’s quite expensive, it’s a good idea to gather a few people to share the cost of one gondola. I recommend taking the water bus to explore the outer areas of the Grand Canal. It’s a more peaceful way to enjoy Venice compared to the bustling city center. #여름여행

|Venice Secret Garden Dream

|Venice Secret Garden Dream

|Venice Secret Garden Dream. The Ca' del Nobile is located at Calle Avvocati 3836 S.Marco, Venice, in a very convenient location. It is especially easy to get to the hotel from the San Angelo vaporetto station, and it is surrounded by picturesque scenery and charming architecture. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, making us feel at home. The hotel's decor is a warm, comfortable, and elegant combination, with every detail looking exquisite. The hotel is also well-equipped, from the in-room safe to the air conditioning, to the electric kettle and warm slippers. We were lucky enough to stay in a spacious and luxurious room with a simple and elegant design and very comfortable bedding, just like relaxing at home 😊. Speaking of the room experience, it was really impeccable. Our room was spacious, the bed was large and soft, and it was well-equipped, including a hairdryer and slippers. Every morning was a treat because we could enjoy a delicious breakfast, especially the pancakes and omelets, which were the best I've ever had! And the hotel has a small balcony overlooking the beautiful canal 🌊. There are many famous attractions near the hotel, within walking distance of St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. St. Mark's Square is the heart of Venice, full of history and culture, and you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the surrounding cafes ☕️. And just a few steps away from the hotel, the Rosa Rossa restaurant is a favorite of a certain celebrity and a great place to taste Venetian cuisine 🍕. Of course, the hotel does have a few minor drawbacks. For example, the hotel is relatively quiet and less active at certain times of the evening. However, for those who like a quiet atmosphere, this is an advantage 😌. Overall, the Ca' del Nobile is a great choice for a stay in Venice! It is not only well located and well-equipped, but also friendly service, making you feel warm and comfortable every moment. This stay made our impression of Venice even more profound, and the hotel itself created many wonderful memories for us 💕. If you are planning to come to Venice, don't hesitate, be sure to try the Ca' del Nobile!

Most Beautiful Bookstore in the World!

#bookstoresandgalleries Hidden along Venice’s side streets behind an unassuming facade, Libreria Acqua Alta, this unique bookstore is home to a treasure trove of new and used books. The name itself even means “Book Store of High Water.” Keeping a collection of books in a city where the roads are made of water is a dangerous idea to begin with, but Venice’s Libreria Acqua Alta has composed of a number of over-stuffed rooms stacked wall-to-wall with books, magazines, maps, and other ephemera. Due to Venice’s constant flooding, however, these picturesque piles are all placed inside bathtubs, waterproof bins, and in one room a full-size gondola. Climb the staircase made out of damaged books to enjoy an idyllic view, which is located at the end of the bookstore. Don’t miss out on taking a photo at the fire escape, which opens out to the canal. Also, try to spot one of the many resident cats the bookstore has adopted. 🕰️Business Hours: 9.30am to 7.15pm Monday - Sunday 📍Address: C. Longa Santa Maria Formosa, 5176b, 30122 Venezia VE, Italy. 💞Reasons to Recommend: unique method of storing books, and its beautiful decor. #italytrip #100waysoftravel #italy #beautiful_italy

Burano, Venice, Italy: A Colorful Island Paradise

Burano, Venice, Italy: A Colorful Island Paradise

Venice, a famous tourist city in northeastern Italy, is undoubtedly one of the most romantic tourist cities in the world. This European water city, built on water and beautiful because of water, has an extremely important position and far-reaching influence in architecture, sculpture, painting, and many other fields. Venice has always been a popular tourist destination in Europe, attracting tourists from all over the world. In fact, Venice is known as the "City of a Hundred Islands," with the main island consisting of 118 small islands. Many beautiful and small islands are scattered around the main island, like pieces of jade floating on the blue waves. Among the many islands in Venice, there is a place that looks like a colorful fairy tale world, and anyone who has been there will be deeply enchanted. This island is called Burano, located in the middle of the sea northeast of the main island of Venice. It used to be a quiet and peaceful fishing port, but now it is a tourist destination full of leisure. The biggest feature of the island is that all the houses are colorful, like a colorful "paradise," and it has been praised by many international magazines as one of the "most colorful places in the world." For this reason, Burano has another more memorable name - "Colorful Island." Bright yellow, bright green, bright red, jumping blue, mysterious purple... row after row, building after building, colorful and unique. The bright buildings are particularly dazzling against the blue sky, making people dizzy. "Colorful Island," a small island with only more than 2,800 permanent residents, is famous for its colorful houses and is well-known in various travel guides and recommendation lists. Along with famous attractions such as Santorini in Greece, Chefchaouen in Morocco, and Cinque Terre in Tuscany, it has become a highly praised colorful destination, attracting many tourists. From the moment I set foot on the Colorful Island, I fell in love with it deeply, as if I had fallen into a huge colorful dye vat. The blue sky, the bright sunshine, a narrow river full of boats, the colorful and staggered houses on both sides, clusters of bright flowers blooming on the windowsills of the houses, fragrant and beautiful like a painting. Most of the houses on the island are small buildings, mostly two or three stories high, with bright and clear colors, and the colors of adjacent houses are never the same. In fact, this is not to attract tourists, nor is it for beautiful photos, but because the island is often shrouded in thick fog. Fishermen paint bright and unique colors on the exterior walls so that they can quickly find their homes in the fog. There are few tourists on the island, and the residents live a simple and leisurely life. Men fish, and women embroider. The lace produced on the Colorful Island has been a favorite of European aristocrats for hundreds of years. The white lace and bright sunshine, bright flowers, and colorful houses complement each other, facing the sea, with spring flowers blooming, and happiness is everywhere. Walking on the "Colorful Island," whether it is the houses on both sides of the river or deep into every alley, you can see various colors following you. Every carefully decorated place and every dazzling color show the romantic feelings of the residents of Burano and their love for life. There is no doubt that living in such an environment will definitely make people happy. The Colorful Island is about 7 kilometers away from the main island of Venice. You need to take a public boat from St. Mark's Square to get there, and you need to transfer halfway, so not everyone can find it smoothly. Compared with the main island of Venice, there are not many tourists going to the Colorful Island. There are no attractions or hotels here, and the only fun on the island is taking photos. But as long as you set foot on this hidden island like a rainbow, you will definitely be reluctant to leave.
