#chillandthrill Pattaya, Thailand, was an amazing blend of excitement and relaxation! 🏖️🌴 Known for its buzzing nightlife and stunning coastline, it didn’t disappoint. I spent my mornings at Jomtien Beach, a quieter alternative to Pattaya Beach, where the sunbeds were about 100 baht ($3 USD), and the water was perfect for a swim. 🌊 One highlight was visiting the Sanctuary of Truth, an intricate wooden temple that blew me away. 🏛️ Entry was 500 baht ($14 USD), but the craftsmanship and serene vibe made it worth every penny. Nearby, I explored the Pattaya Floating Market (entry 200 baht/$6 USD), where I tried delicious street food and bought unique souvenirs. 🍢🛶 At night, Walking Street came alive with energy—neon lights, music, and entertainment everywhere! 🎶 For something quieter, I enjoyed the Pattaya Viewpoint, offering a free panoramic view of the city. Pattaya tourist area belongs to Chonburi Province, Thailand, 154 kilometers southeast of Bangkok. Pattaya is famous for its sunshine, beaches, and nightlife, known as the "Eastern Hawaii" and a world-renowned seaside resort. Pattaya Beach is located in the south of Koh Lipe and is the busiest beach for locals. Pattaya Beach is the finest and clearest sandy section of the 15-kilometer coastline in Pattaya, stretching about 3 kilometers. The beach has a gentle slope, white as silver sand, clear seawater, and brilliant sunshine, making it an excellent seaside resort. Tropical trees and coconut groves are everywhere near the beach, presenting a rich oriental tropical landscape. In addition to swimming and sunbathing, there are also various water sports on Pattaya Beach. In terms of water projects, Pattaya has the most advanced facilities and excellent institutions in Thailand. Among them, "underwater walking" can take tourists deep into the sea surface by 5 meters, allowing them to have a close encounter with gorgeous corals and lively fish schools. Almost all international chain hotels such as Hilton and Marriott have a place on the beaches of Pattaya, so budget hotels and guesthouses can only be found scattered in streets and alleys away from the sea. From Bangkok to Pattaya, there are few train schedules and long travel time, so buses are the most recommended way. Buses to Pattaya are available from both of Bangkok's airports and the eastern and northern bus stations, taking only 2 hours.

This market is located in the North Part of Pattaya and all the taxi drivers knew this place. The market itself is not so big, but its choice of seafood is huge. Everything is fresh and even alive. Krua Wan Suk is an amazing traditional Thai cuisine tucked away in East Pattaya. The restaurant is quite large and the tables are spread out through the garden area. It is run by family members which also explains why the cuisine is not the usual Thai kitchen/roadside eatery. The food tend to be spicy, but the chef can make to your taste. Just opposite Middle Pattaya Beach, next to Hilton Hotel Pattaya you will find this beautiful small restaurant - Mae Sri Ruen. Restaurant serving local Thai food. Price is cheaper than in the food court, but portions are big, food is clean and tasty. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, with a nice sea view. #staycation #food

Pier 21 food court in North Pattaya

If you are looking for affordable food in Pattaya you can go to Terminal 21 in North Pattaya. On the top floor, just opposite of cinema complex you will see big logo “Pier 21”. Before you enter to food court, don’t forget to purchase cash card - it’s kind of deposit card, you can use it to pay for your food. Unspent balance you can refund on the same day. Overage price for one dish is around 50-60 per dish. Most of it already included rice or soup. Here you also can find famous Thailand desert- mango sticky rice (one portion is only 70 THB). #foodie #thailand
