Introduction Sea Angling in Chicago

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Chicago sea fishing is a unique experience of finding natural wildness in a bustling city. This city located on the shore of Lake Michigan, although not close to the sea, has opened up a different world for sea fishing enthusiasts because of its close dependence on the lake. In Chicago, sea fishing is not a simple fishing, but an intimate dialogue with nature. You can choose to chase the fish swimming in the deep waters on a professional sea fishing boat with the ups and downs of the waves; you can also wait for the fish to bite the hook alone at the dock by the lake. Either way, you can feel the tranquility and excitement brought by sea fishing. Lake Michigan in Chicago has clear water and abundant fish resources, especially salmon and trout, which are the favorites of sea fishing enthusiasts. Here, you can not only enjoy the fun of fishing, but also taste the fresh fish you catch yourself, and experience the perfect transformation from the lake to the table. Chicago sea fishing is not only an intimate contact with nature, but also a relaxation and baptism of the soul. In the busy city life, why not take a day off to go on a spontaneous sea fishing trip and let your soul be truly liberated among the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains.

A TRAIN STORY 🚋 1, 2 or 3 ?

After a few days strolling around the city, I am quite fascinated by the Downtown elevated trains aka the ‘L’ rail system. Seeing it from different perspectives helped me better understand how it shaped the development of buildings and streets with the Loop ! What’s your favorite perspective ? @choosechicagofr #chicagohome #themepark#nationalpark

Needs an update

Stayed at this hotel in July and it was clear from the get go that they are understaffed. The hallways and room clearly show that the hotel has not been updated in many years. The room was clean and the bed was pretty firm but not bad. The bathtub was rust-stained and the grout between the tiles had mold stains. There was little traffic noise but the worst part is the extremely noisy air conditioner. The first time it came on at night I really thought it was a huge truck passing on the nearby road. This kept waking me up every time it came on. Overall, it's ok for a one night stay but I'll be looking for something else, terima #themepark#nationalpark#lakes#beaches

Grant Park: Chicago's Dreamy Oasis

Grant Park: Chicago's Dreamy Oasis

Grant Park: Chicago's Dreamy Oasis When the melody of the Windy City plays on the shores of Lake Michigan, Grant Park is the most moving movement. This urban oasis, located at 337 E. Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601, exudes its charm from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. The Buckingham Fountain is undoubtedly the star of the park, like a frozen dream palace, with the Rococo style of 1927 engraved on it. The fountain echoes Lake Michigan, and the seahorses represent the surrounding states, not only a clever architectural design but also a blend of history, culture, and geography. Standing by the fountain, watching the water dance in the sunlight, you can almost hear the whispers of time, telling the past and present of Chicago. The North Rose Garden is like a colorful oil painting, with the Fisher Boy and Crane Girl fountains as the finishing touches. Roses bloom wildly, red as fire, pink as clouds, white as snow, weaving into a sea of flowers. Butterflies dance and bees buzz among the flowers, creating a vibrant scene. The South Rose Garden echoes with its unique tranquil beauty, with the Dove Girl and Turtle Boy accompanying the roses, as if guarding this fragrant land. In addition to the natural beauty, the Chicago Cultural Center is hidden in the park, like a cultural treasure waiting to be discovered. Here, art exhibitions and cultural events are held continuously, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of nature while bathing in the light of culture. In Grant Park, you can lie on the lawn, look up at the blue sky, and let your thoughts drift with the wind; you can jog along the lake, getting close to the fresh air and the lake's scenery; you can wander through the garden, capturing every beautiful moment with your camera. This is the soul of Chicago, with every inch of land filled with stories and every view exuding a unique attraction, drawing visitors from all over the world to embark on an unforgettable dreamy journey.

Address - The Loews Chicago Hotel is in the heart of Chicago, two blocks away from the Chicago Riverwalk and the Magnificent Mile Ambiance/Facilities - There was a gym, pool and spa on the third floor. The gym was open 24/7 and was one of the best-equipped hotel gyms Highlights - excellent customer service, slick property design and a luxurious yet approachable feel throughout the hotel. Avg. Price per Person - 160 Usd Rating - 9/10 The small touches take this hotel from good to great — things like multiple desk chairs in our room, friendly staff who greet you in the hallways, cold towels in the gym, responsive texts from the concierge and staff taking the effort to reset chairs in the lobby during a slow time — and really make a difference in customer experience #uniquelodging#travelinspiration#awesomepic

Ahhh, such a comfortable bed and spacious room~.

Ahhh, such a comfortable bed and spacious room~.

The moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt its unique charm. The lobby is spacious and bright, with modern and simple decor that creates a warm yet stylish atmosphere. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and attentive, quickly checking me in and patiently introducing the hotel's facilities and services. I booked a deluxe room, which was simple and elegant, with every detail reflecting the designer's ingenuity. The comfortable bed, soft bedding, high-definition LCD TV, and high-speed internet connection all demonstrate the hotel's commitment to guest experience. The city view from the window is breathtaking, whether it's the hustle and bustle of the day or the bright lights of the night, making me feel the prosperity and vitality of the city. Aloft Chicago offers not only a comfortable accommodation environment but also a wealth of amenities. The W XYZ bar in the hotel is one of my favorite spots, with live music performances and a unique nightlife culture. In addition, the hotel has a fitness center, meeting rooms, and other facilities to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers. As a pet-friendly hotel, Aloft Chicago also offers pet-friendly rooms and services, which I found very thoughtful. As a pet lover myself, I was touched by the warmth and inclusiveness of seeing other guests with their pets and happy smiles on their faces. The hotel also excels in dining. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options, from fresh fruit and hot bread to a variety of eggs and meats, each bite is unforgettable. I also tried the hotel's signature dishes, and the unique flavors are still unforgettable. Overall, my experience at Aloft Chicago exceeded my expectations. Whether in terms of hardware facilities or software services, it shows the level of a high-quality hotel. If you are planning a trip or business trip to Chicago, I would highly recommend Aloft Chicago as your first choice of accommodation.

The Richard H. Driehaus Museum ⚜️✨

Well preserved history at its finest. This 3 storey mansion turned museum features unique architecture, artwork and furnishings that have been expertly maintained. Given the staff are so passionate and knowledgeable, I recommend the guided tour if your schedule allows. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff as well. They had lots of information about the art pieces there and the history of the previous owners. The Driehaus Museum also offers scheduled tours or audio guides to learn more about the Nickerson family history and the restoration work done on the mansion. The elegance and grandeur of the Gilded Age lives on beautifully at the Driehaus Museum. It's a historic gem not to be missed. #wheretogo #bestplace #bestview #awesomepic #mytripvlog #celebratewithtrip #best_trip_by_trip #bestplace #recommended #besttimeever #bestdeal #awesometrip #tripcom

A September Visit

I first encountered the Water Tower, on N Michigan Ave (Magnificent Mile), when we first stayed at the near-by Ritz Carlton. That was about 25-30 years ago. On this September trip, we were staying near-by, but at the Westin, a block, or so away. The Water Tower is really two buildings, on either side of N Michigan Ave, the Water Tower itself, with a small art gallery, and then the Chicago Avenue Pumping Station, much of which is now a Department of Tourism office, a small theater, the Looking Glass Theater Company. For me, the architecture is the primary draw, and it always has been, however, there is much history associated with the Water Tower - the second oldest remaining such tower in the USA. Even in the dull light of a cloudy September day, the structure is beautiful, reaching into the sky 185'. As much of this area has been rebuilt, with much more modern structures, the Water Tower is a throwback - a throwback to 1869. Visually, it almost seems out of place, but then maybe it’s the newer, much more modern structures, which are themselves, out of place? One positive effect that I encountered on this day, was that the light was soft, as too often, these two structures have some hard shadows cast upon them, by the taller, surrounding buildings. Besides walking around each of the buildings, I also got to gaze upon the Tower Building, from the restaurant, a few floor up in the Park Hyatt hotel - a view that I had never taken in before. I spent probably an hour and a half between both buildings, and would recommend that one budget at least an hour, to take both structures in, to their fullest fsyvvhijcs #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes

Shedd Aquarium 🐋✨

This is a very cool aquarium. The building itself is very beautiful. A great variety of sealife, fish, reptiles, amphibians in nice settings. The keepers and staff are friendly and informative. 👍🏻 There are lots of interactive exhibits enjoyable for any age group. They have a very large assortment of aquatic life and we were very pleased to see that their enclosures were well suited and maintained. Exploring the entire place took about 3 hours to see everything. The gift shop was a large one with many options and the cafeteria had so many options. I got a chicken sandwich and it was very good. 😋 I highly recommend this museum, it has all the good stuff you'd expect from a high quality museum. #wheretogo #bestplace #bestview #awesomepic #mytripvlog #celebratewithtrip #best_trip_by_trip #bestplace #recommended #besttimeever #bestdeal #awesometrip #tripcom
