Amsterdam

I like Amsterdam but not in winter time. the weather is really bad and dark and sky is grey. I recommend to come to visit Holland in summer time. Or in April when a lot of flowers are blooming. and of course to visit Keukenhoof. This park is worse to visit. The best time - the second part of April. but not in begging of May or begging of April. Rent a car and book tickets upfront.

Amsterdam

#amsterdam The canals of Amsterdam is world famous and a unique place to visit. See how houses are built right above canals and a whole city is built around them. Plenty of people living in boat houses which are of different and interesting shapes, colors and sizes. Plenty of good food and attractions in the city. A good way to get around is by boat so buy the Amsterdam pass which gives you access to so many things. #unforgettableexperiences#museumquest#historicculture#beautifulhotel#summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

😍 Welkom in Nederland! I went to the capital for a day trip, the city is just so vibrant and there's so much to explore... 🎡 You have to spend more than 3 days to get the complete Dutch experience here! 🧇 😮 Did you know the symbol of Amsterdam is XXX? These are the three St. Andrew crosses, designed by St. Andrew for ships in AMS in 1505... 😅 Though no one really knows what's the exact meaning of them Getting There - 🚄 From AMS Schiphol airport, take any NS train from the train station located the arrival terminal of the airport, and you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in 15 minutes! 🚉 A trip like this costs 4.7 EUR (38 HKD) Attractions - 🏡 Anne Frank Huis - The girl who has written most well-documented story during the second world war from a Jewish perspective 🏮 Red light district (18+) - The street to see the sex culture of the city, so vibrant, so open, so free... Don't bring your kids to here! 🙈 Shopping - 🛣️ Kalverstraat - 15 minute walk from Central station, a pedestrian street in between canals of AMS and you can find all sorts of shops and intl' brands here! #境外遊 #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #summervacation #mytripvlog #tripblazers #passionpassport #celebratewithtrip #bucketlistreboot

Magical Amsterdam🇳🇱

Amsterdam here we go! This summer had been great to spend my long leave in Netherland alone. I've decide in less than 3 months to spend my summer holiday strolling around the city and canals. With 72hrs city cards, I manage to enjoy my leisure time until the Zandvoort beach. 👍 the beach was wonderful and breezy. Beside that, I did enjoy my time at Vondelpark and heading towards the famous The Seafood Bar restaurant. Amsterdam was a beautiful and lively city and you should be here to experience the food, the dutch pancakes, the fries, the coffee, the canals and see for yourself the ancient building with your own eye. oh! before I forget, i'm staying at Hotel Fine Harmony. The room is big and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to many interesting places. I wish I could go back again soon and spend my day rilex and enjoy my coffee with a friend. Amsterdam totally awesome! #mytripvlog #tripblazers #spooktaculartrip #deliciousfood #foodie #summer

Rijkmuseum Amsterdam

Rijkmuseum Amsterdam

One of the top museums here in Amsterdam and definitely a must-seen! Its very popular so better book the ticket in advance online. It's quite huge, if you wanna see everything you will have to take a whole day. The museun offers free apps which you can download easily on your phone, so you don't need to rent extra audio guide. Some of the important master pieces are on a tour exhibition so we didn't get to see then, which it's a pity. Make sure you visit the museum gift shop! So many interesting items!

Amsterdam's Tapestry of Canals and Culture

Amsterdam's Tapestry of Canals and Culture

🚲 Canal Cruise Charm: Embarked on a leisurely canal cruise, gliding along Amsterdam's iconic waterways. The picturesque scenes of historic buildings, arched bridges, and tree-lined canals unfolded, revealing the city's timeless beauty. 🏰 Cultural Riches: Explored Amsterdam's rich cultural heritage with visits to world-class museums such as the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. Each exhibit unveiled a chapter of artistic brilliance, capturing the essence of Dutch creativity. 🌷 Blooming Beauty: Strolled through the vibrant blooms of Keukenhof Gardens, immersing myself in the colors of tulip fields. The fragrance of blooming flowers and the kaleidoscope of hues created a sensory symphony in this botanical paradise. 🌆 Cityscape Wonders: Ascended to the top of A'DAM Lookout for panoramic views of Amsterdam's skyline. The city's dynamic blend of historic architecture and modern innovation became a captivating sight, especially during the golden hues of sunset. 🍽️ Culinary Delights: Indulged in Amsterdam's diverse culinary scene, from street food markets to charming canal-side cafes. The flavors of Dutch delicacies, paired with canal views, added a delectable dimension to the gastronomic journey. Amsterdam, with its intertwining canals and cultural treasures, unveiled a day of enchantment. A city where every bridge crossed, museum visited, and canal cruised left an indelible mark on the canvas of my Amsterdam adventure. 🌍🌷 #AmsterdamExploration #CanalCityCharm

Very accommodating, quick and friendly service. What a great Cafe. Had eggs Benedict and fresh ginger, lemon & honey tea. Extremely delicious. Came back to visit the next day and had another great brunch. Keep in mind two things there: 1 there is an online queue. Second is that after you sit, your food can take up to 30 min to be there. If you are in a rush that might not be the best option for you. The atmosphere feels homely. Honestly, i tried a lot of breakfasts in Amsterdam and I can tell you this is one of the best. #hollandtrip #afternoonteatime #thingstodo

🇳🇱Amsterdam’s Iconic Architecture🇳🇱

#magicalxmastrip Amsterdam's iconic architecture is a captivating blend of history and innovation, reflecting the city’s rich cultural heritage. The narrow, gabled houses that line the canals are perhaps the most recognizable feature, showcasing a unique style that dates back to the 17th century. These charming buildings, with their distinctive facades and large windows, were originally designed to maximize space and light in the bustling urban environment. The canals themselves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, add to the city’s allure, with elegant bridges connecting the picturesque neighborhoods. Notable structures like the Royal Palace and the Westerkerk stand as testaments to Amsterdam's architectural diversity, combining Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque influences. Modern architecture also thrives in the city, with innovative designs like the Eye Filmmuseum and the A'DAM Tower, which contrast beautifully with the historical surroundings. This harmonious blend of old and new creates a vibrant urban landscape that continues to inspire and attract visitors from around the world. A must visit indeed! #xmastrip #xmas2024 #myhiddengems #summervacation #freehotelstay #familytrip #localguides #europe #historicallandmarks #mytravelhacks #passionpassport #awesomepic #urbanexplorer #amsterdam #foodie #asiatrip #mustdo #food #trip

Uncommon Cafe at Amsterdam

One of the best food experiences of my trip due to the carefully selected beans to make the milky coffee drinks like my flat white that I ordered. Wash hands in the back for a clean and fragrant rush. Get a coffee zine in the back on the wall. Great place for coffee recommended by my son who owns a restaurant in town. Amazing banana bread with chocolate chips that is amazing. Croissants bit too over cooked for my liking and taste ok. Coffee is good and they have a lovely location with modern settings. Went here twice during my stay in town and loved it both times. They have a small food menu here and it is quite a popular spot in the area. Staff are really nice and super friendly. Prices are high and hence the four stars. At €2.50 for a small croissant I expect perfection ;-) Happily come here any day for the coffee. #café
