Queenstown - Newzealand

Queenstown is widely recognized as the most beautiful city in New Zealand and not only that, it is also one of the most photogenic places in the world for people to travel to! This city is one of the best location of the world to do sky diving, and this is the reason why we are here for this trip. Suggestion of places to visit in Queenstown Once you’re in Queenstown, there will be only one road driving to Glenorchy. It was a 40 – 50 minutes scenic drive from the main town to a scenic lookout – Bennets Bluff overlooking the lake, and it was mostly smooth driving for another 1/2 hour to reach Lake Wakatipu. Glenorchy – Lake Wakatipu and a few stunning scenery in the Lord of the Ring. Lake Wakatipu was used for scenes involving Lothlorien, an ancient forest in the movie. Twelve Mile Delta : A campside location on the banks of Lake Wakatipu is the location in one of the scenes where Frodo, Sam and Gollom watch the battle between Faramir’s rangers and Oliphaunts in the Lord of the Ring. #urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer #naturalwonders

NZ Kawarau Bridge Bungy Queenstown

When in Queenstown, everyone should go do this! it’s super Awesome! The entire experience was phenomenal and the staff at the Kawarau Bungy Center was outstanding. A little pricey would be the only drawback, especially once you include pictures/videos. The staff were very friendly and helpful and professional. They really got you excited about jumping off a perfectly good bridge!! The viewing platform was great to watch from and your friends can get good shots of you jumping off. There is a gift shop and cafe there as well. This is something everyone should do at least once in your life and where better than the home of bungy? Address: Corner of Shotover & Camp Streets, 25 Shotover Street, Queenstown 9300, New Zealand #newyearadventure #newyearadventure #bungy #newzealand

Panoramic Paradise: Deer Park Heights in Queenstown

#weekendgetaways During my recent trip to Queenstown, I visited Deer Park Heights, a scenic drive and animal encounter located 550 meters above the town. The 5 km self-drive route meanders through a working deer farm, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of Lake Wakatipu, The Remarkables mountain range, and the Whakatipu Basin. Along the way, I had the delightful opportunity to feed various animals, including deer, goats, alpacas, and donkeys. Pellets were available for purchase at the first stop, making it easy to interact with these friendly creatures. The combination of stunning vistas and hands-on animal experiences made Deer Park Heights a highlight of my New Zealand adventure.

When visiting Queenstown in the South Island of New Zealand, it is a must to take a ride on the famous steamship. Tickets should be booked in advance as there is no guarantee of availability on the day of travel, with a maximum capacity of 350 passengers. Location: There is a small pier on the lakeside in the center of Queenstown City. The building is a ticket office, and you can board the ship after leaving the ticket office. Ship name: TSS Earnslaw, a twin screw steamer, nicknamed "The Lady of the Lake". Ticket prices: There are various package boat tickets. Round-trip boat tickets cost just over 300 yuan. Boat tickets plus a visit to the ranch and lunch cost 600 yuan. Boat tickets plus morning or afternoon tea and a visit cost 500 yuan. Boat tickets plus a visit and dinner cost nearly 700 yuan. Choose according to your interests and time. History: A transport ship built in England in 1912, costing 20,000 pounds. Its parts were shipped to New Zealand for assembly. With the development of highways and the decline of shipping, it was converted into a tourist ship in 1969. Now it is the only steam-powered ship in the southern hemisphere. We took the 10:30 am flight, but if we visit the ranch and have a meal, we will take a later flight back. Queenstown: the jewel in the ˈ‍crown

Day 1: Hiking #benlomond 🥾 My adventure in #queenstown began with an exhilarating hike up Ben Lomond. The trail offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Wakatipu. The climb was challenging but rewarding, especially when I reached the summit and was greeted with panoramic vistas of the Southern Alps. The crisp air and serene beauty made it a perfect start to my trip. Day 2: Exploring #lakewakatipu The next day, I decided to take a leisurely stroll around Lake Wakatipu. The crystal-clear waters and the majestic remarkables mountain range in the background created a picture-perfect scene. I stopped by the Queenstown Gardens and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The lake's unique "tidal" phenomenon, caused by atmospheric pressure changes, was fascinating to witness. Day 3: Milford Sound Day Tour I joined a guided day tour to #milfordsound, one of New Zealand's most iconic destinations. The journey through #Fiordland national park 🏞️ was stunning, with lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, and towering cliffs. Upon arrival, the boat cruise through the sound was awe-inspiring. 🗻Mitre Peak stood tall, and playful dolphins accompanied our boat, making the experience unforgettable. 🏠 Accommodation: Absoloot Hostel QT** During my stay, I lodged at Absoloot Hostel QT, a cozy and welcoming place. The hostel had a friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, and a great location close to the town center. It was the perfect base for exploring Queenstown and meeting fellow travelers. Queenstown truly lived up to its reputation as the adventure capital of the world, offering a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and relaxation. I left with unforgettable memories and a longing to return.
