This is a lake formed by an underground spring, The further you go in, the clearer the water becomes, The pond's ecosystem is also very rich, With various types of fish and plants, Of course, be aware of the small black mosquitoes, I got bitten quite a few times walking around, It's recommended to bring mosquito repellent.

I received a phone call two weeks ago, telling me that I had been selected for Hang Lung Hotel’s Amateur Master Experience Program last month. Surprised, I quickly shared the good news with my friends. They each took leave and took the train to Jiaoxi on Sunday for a one-stop, two-diner slow travel experience. Although the entrance of the hotel is located on the side of the road, it is like a paradise in the city. The entire building is covered with bamboo, like a huge birdcage, so that after the long journey, we just want to stay inside and rest. After checking in, we took the elevator to the room. This time we stayed in a stream room. As soon as we entered the room, we explored everywhere in the room, looking for anything new. The three-dimensional egg-shaped cabinet on the wall is definitely the most impressive design for us. When we open it, we find a small bar inside, where various snacks and drinks are placed. During dinner time, we went to the HABITAT restaurant on the first floor to enjoy carefully prepared menu-less dishes. The chef combined local ingredients and seasonings to present us exquisite delicacies. I found very special ingredients in several dishes, such as using dried apricots in pork soup, or adding golden dates to guinea fowl, etc., which are not common. In addition, there is a hidden version of the dish served in a Vermicular enamel cast iron pot - cream truffle bomb. It is a dish only for Hang Lung members. Thanks to this amateur project, I was also lucky enough to taste it. After eating and drinking, we walked out of the cage to eat before going back to the room to take a bath and go to bed. We poured hot spring water into the bathtub and enjoyed the healing bath time, sighing comfortably from our mouths. For me, who has not been in a hot spring for many years, I have forgotten how great it feels! Thank you Hang Lung Travel for the JING Slow Travel Experience planned by Jiaoxi, which allowed my friend and I to take a two-day, one-night trip in our busy schedule. We had a great time and look forward to recharging here again next time. P.S. Friends who plan to come can reserve a tour of the gallery in advance, and there will be a dedicated person to explain it.

Taiwan-Streets of Yilan, Mr Brown Cafe

Yilan in Taiwan has lots of interesting places to go. The streets of Yilan looks really retro, like sealed in a time capsule back in the 50s. Look at the KTV and the book shop omg love the feel. Love the street food too! For beef lovers DO NOT miss the beef noodle in Taiwan! Mr Brown cafe is on a hill top. It’s a nice cafe with some grounds to explore in the area. A good place for couples to chill 😎

Yilan Wood-fired French Cuisine - Is Ye Fu Chui Yan a gourmet restaurant or a Yuanshan attraction?

Years ago, Ye Fu Chui Yan was a Chinese banquet-style restaurant without a set menu. Now, the restaurant has hired a French chef and transformed into a French cuisine restaurant, using kiln and fire roasting techniques to create a unique dining experience. The dining environment used to feel rustic, but after a complete renovation, it has become a refined French restaurant. The restaurant's website emphasizes 'welcoming foodies in hiking shoes,' suggesting it might also be a great spot for a day trip. Of course, I have to plan a visit! Ye Fu Chui Yan's menu is simple and clear, with three pricing options (1880 TWD, 2480 TWD, 2880 TWD). Each set includes an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Notably, Chef Ji Yong's 'French Onion Soup' won the 3rd 500 Plates Award! The restaurant's decor features a wooden theme, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed views of the mountains and lake. The restaurant has a large open space with a pond and a leisure area; you can arrange a walk along the mountain trails. I think this is the unique charm of Ye Fu Chui Yan, only found in the mountains! Rather than just dining, it's more about enjoying the scenery, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely day trip! 📍Address: No. 21-8, Shuangpi Road, Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, 264 💰Average spending: Over $2,000 per person

Take a trail stroll!

Another zen place in Taiwan is the JIANQING HISTORIC TRAIL! this is a short trail track but it’s a wonderful place to see an abandoned train track. When you visit hear be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes with grip as it can be slippery. This place has a laid back vibe that makes you want to connect with Nature. It is amazing how nature can take over a place! I’ll be sure to be back here! #mytrip #donnahtheexplorer #taiwan #exploreasia #experiencetaiwan #mytripdiaries #traintracks
