Universal Studios Japan - Osaka

📍2 Chome-1-33 Sakurajima, Konohana Ward, Osaka, 554-0031 USJ is my favorite theme park that I’ve ever been to. There’re usually many tourists so it’s better to get up early and get there before it opened at 9am. I got there earlier than 8:30.🎠 The most popular area gotta be THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER, 🧙‍♀️so I ran directly to it first or it may take a really long time to wait in the line. Everything in HP area is no doubt amazing, totally immersive. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is the most popular attraction in the whole park, and it’s an indoor roller coaster with ultra-realistic images. It’s so cool but a liiittle bit scary for a “chicken” like me. As I only spent no more than 30 minutes on waiting for HP and the Forbidden Journey, I have plenty time for all the rest of other attractions. Also as I don’t dare to ride the roller coaster and I was single rider, which means I could go through single ride channel to cut my waiting time, I basically went to every attractions I would like to go at 2-3 pm. I even rode The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man twice, lol. 🎭 Great place. Hope I can get the chance to visit there again.🤣 #japantravel #themeparks

Osaka - Shinsaibashi and Dontobori 🇯🇵

#wheretogo #osaka #japan Visiting to Osaka, Japan, Sinsaibashi and Dontobori are always the more famous streets that every tourists will gather here. Both of the streets are just near to each other which is around 1 + km distance so you may just arrange the visit to be on the same day. Shinsaibashi: It is a 600 meters long shopping streets filled with a lot of boutiques, luxury department stores like Daimaru, UniQlo, H&M, Bulgari, and Zara as well as the drug/make up stores!! If you are a shopaholic, this will be a heaven for you. Dontobori: Crossing the shopping arcade of Shinsaibashi, Dontobori is just right in front of it. Do not forget to check in the most iconic landmark - the giant Glico Man here and take the picture as memories!! For food hunters, this is 1 of the best place for you to get a good food!!!

#2023travelwish address: 1 Chome Dotonbori, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0071, Japan one of the famous attraction to visit in Osaka! it’s near the glico sign where everyone visit. it’s very crowded with domestic tourists and overseas visitors. long queue everywhere especially the famous food stalls. but the food is so so so so good. I love it. so many food choices like ramen, takoyaki, Izakaya, sushi, even cosmetic drugstores are here. everything you need is here 🇯🇵🇯🇵 highly recommend to visit. it’s near high end malls and shopping malls too. I wish to be able to visit other cities of Japan. Can’t get enough of this.

5 Days 4 Nights Osaka and Kyoto Trip

Sharing our itinerary with everyone: 📍Location: 🇯🇵 September 2 (Osaka) • 6:00 - Arrive at Kansai Airport, go through immigration, collect luggage, and purchase an ICOCA card. • 7:30 - Take the Nankai Electric Railway Rapit to Namba Station (about 40 minutes). • 8:30 - Arrive at Sotetsu FRESA INN Osaka Namba Station, drop off luggage. • 9:00 - 18:00 - Visit Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, Namba, Nipponbashi, and Tennoji. • 19:00-20:00 - Abeno Harukas 300 Observatory • 20:00 - 21:00 - Return to the hotel, take the Sakaisuji Line subway back to Namba Station, and rest at the hotel. September 3 (Universal Studios Japan) • 6:50 - Take the train from Namba Station to Kujo, transfer to the Hanshin Namba Line to Nishikujo Station, then transfer to the JR Yumesaki Line to Universal City Station (about 45 minutes). • 8:00 - 19:00 - Arrive at Universal Studios Japan, spend the whole day there. Have lunch and dinner inside the park. • 19:00 - Return to the hotel and rest. Rest early September 5 (Arashiyama, Kinkaku-ji) • 9:20 - Head to Arashiyama • 10:45 - Leisurely walk to JR Saga-Arashiyama Station • 11:30 - Take the JR train to Umahori Station (towards Kameoka) (about 15 minutes), arrive at Arashiyama Station at 11:50. • 11:30 - Take the Sagano Scenic Railway (about 30 minutes). • 11:50 - Arrive at Arashiyama. • 12:00 - Visit the Bamboo Grove • 12:35 - Visit Tenryu-ji Temple. After exiting from the north gate of Tenryu-ji, you can directly enter the Bamboo Grove and then reach Nonomiya Shrine. • 13:30 - Nonomiya Shrine • 13:00 - Stroll around Arashiyama Main Street. • 14:40 - Take the Randen Arashiyama Main Line to Kitano-Hakubaicho Station (about 20 minutes). • 15:00 - Take Bus No. 205 to Kinkaku-ji Michi Bus Stop (about 30 minutes). • 15:30 - Arrive at Kinkaku-ji. • 16:50 - Visit Kinkaku-ji (about 1 hour). • 16:50 - Take Bus No. 205 back to Kawaramachi Sanjo (about 30 minutes), walk back to the hotel (about 3 minutes). • 17:30 - Arrive at the hotel. September 6 (Osaka) • 10:00 - 11:00 - Arrive at Umeda, store luggage in lockers or carry it with you. • 11:30 - 20:00 - Umeda, Umeda Shopping District, HEP FIVE Mall. • 22:25 - Arrive at Kansai Airport Terminal 1, check-in for the flight. • 23:00 - Flight departs for Taiwan. Summary: In reality, we found that the schedule was too tight and we rushed to too many places, which was very tiring. We even missed some places, like on 9/4 we planned to go to Fushimi Inari but ended up only visiting Kiyomizu-dera and Yasaka Shrine due to time constraints. We managed to visit most places, but next time we won't plan such a tight schedule or will add an extra day to avoid rushing. If anyone has a better schedule, please share it with me. Thank you! 😍

Address - Osaka Dotonbori / Osaka-Namba station Ambiance/Facilities - it’s a street full of restaurants, street food and shops. Highlights - The Glica ad sign is very famous and the takoyaki is the most popular food there. Avg. Price per Person - walking around is free, meals are around ¥1,000 per person or less if it’s a snack. For a full meal it might be around ¥1,500 or ¥2,000. Here's one for my fellow Potterheads! If you're planning your trip to Universal Studios Japan, make sure you allocate at least half a day at the Harry Potter World! The whole area was an absolute work of art. The photo spots were endless, so be sure to purchase your robes and scarfs there or at least wear your own there! The lovely staff at USJ would interact with you as if you were an actual Hogwarts student, so it's a whole experience! #japan #osaka #themepark

Wonderful World of Harry Potter, USJ 🇯🇵

#wheretogo When visiting Universal Studios Osaka in Japan, one of my top must-visits is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It is really amazing, as everything really looks like in the movie series, and the rides were great! There were also shows and activities. Highly recommend going early before the crowds build up! My rating of this attraction: 5 ⭐️ out of 5!

#celebratewithtrip if you are going to Osaka Japan you can consider staying here for about 2-3 nights. some places you can consider to visit would be the famous dotonburi. over here there is an ichiran ramen shop which I suggest you try as the ramen is really good but please be patient as there will be a long queue and you will need to wait. but turnaround time is quite fast so not to worry about that. visiting shinsekai should also be on your list as the night neon lights make everything quite pretty hence it is good for pictures. I also visited the Osaka castle. the structure is nice and you can take many beautiful pictures here.

It has a solid case for being the first Teppanyaki restaurant in the entire world. It is reasonable to assume that the staff at Steak Misono have a vast and distinguished history when it comes to selling excellent Kobe beef, as the store in Osaka was established in 1962.

Universal Studios - Japan!

#100WaysOfTravel #themeparks Our Japan itinerary included a visit for Universal. We’ve been to universal Orlando a dozen times, so was excited to see it in Asia. It cost around £40 for the tickets and hot on everyone’s list is getting in to Nintendo world. We arrived 1 hour before the park opened, to get a timed entry slot to Nintendo world. We logged in on the app and got a slot for 8:30am. The park was very busy! We went in July, it was very hot and humid. They have some old rides like Jaws, which used to be in the Orlando park, so it was a good throwback! Overall the day was good, long wait times, but that’s expected and some of the best rides where the Japanese animated ones. Would highly recommend a visit here!
