#bestchinesefood Most towns with a decent Chinese population has a place for dimsum, KK is no different. This dimsum place used to be in a traditional setting, but underwent a renovation in the recent years. What followed that was a rather steep rise in pricing. The taste of most dimsum was decent, but nothing particularly remarkable. During my recent visit, the fish noodles was bad (low content in fish) and the cheongfun was too soft/sticky to our liking, tho.

#malaysiatrip Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park consists of 5 islands, Gaya, Sapi, Manukan, Mamutik and Sapi, each with their individual speciality. We visited Manukan, the second largest and most developed one with resorts and restaurants. It has area for snorkeling even though not as nice as Sapi and Mamutik but the sea water is still crystal clear. There is monitor lizard wandering around the island looking for leftover food, they wont attack human unless they are provoked.

Sulug Island - Malaysia
Sulug Island (Pulau Sulug) is an island located in the West Coast of Sabah, Malaysia. The island is the part of the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park and it is the second smallest island (20 acres or 8.1 hectares in size) of the marine park. Uninhabited wild island with a sandy spit. The only island without infrastructure. No toilet, cafe, shade. Rubbish is not removed from the beach. You don't have to come here for the whole day. Couple hours will be enough. With the sea right in front, it's the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The outdoor terrace seating is especially great, with the sea view and the sunset blending together for a truly moving experience. ✔️ Menu: I ordered the seafood platter and a cocktail. The seafood was incredibly fresh and plentiful, which was very satisfying. The shrimp, squid, and clams were all delicious, and the tropical fruit cocktail was refreshing and matched the atmosphere perfectly. ✔️ Service: The staff were very friendly, making the dining experience pleasant. They explained the menu well and promptly attended to any requests, allowing us to enjoy our time comfortably. ✔️ Tip: The seats fill up quickly during sunset, so make sure to reserve in advance! #kotakinabalutrip Cakes taste so much better than my 1st trip when their cafe was at Gaya Street. Same goes with drinks. Had the Earl Grey Lotus Biscoff RM14.50, Houjicha Latte RM12, Chai Latte RM10 and 3 scoop of Yous Gelato for RM27.50. Gelato was true to taste, thank you for the recommendation on Black Sesame. So delicious. Had Pistachio and Biscoff Cheesecake too. Very nice. The tables were so close to each other it gave me anxiety 😬 We had to put our folded receipt at the bottom of our table so it would be stable. My drink spilled coz table wasn't stable. Also wanted to sit further in but a bit too noisy that side. Contemplated and settled to sitting near the counter
