All Trip Moments about A Town
The shortest place name in the world—Ao Town
Ao Town is a small fishing village at the southernmost tip of the Lofoten Islands in Norway. A is the last letter in Norwegian. Named after it, it means that this place is so remote; it is really so. We traveled a long distance from Oslo, the capital of Norway. Due to the change of transportation, the train was suspended due to weather conditions. We finally arrived at the town of Lofoten A, a Norwegian island. We had admired its cod museum and kiln-baked cinnamon rolls for a long time. After getting off the bus, lest the shops were closed, we went straight to the bread. There are many tourists waiting in line at the store to buy cinnamon rolls. After tasting them, they are really delicious. After you have had enough to drink, hurry up and take the time to visit its cod fish museum, seaside wooden houses, and endless beauty. The sea view is really enjoyable!

Norway🇳🇴Attractions - The town with the shortest name in the world Å
Norway🇳🇴Attractions - The town with the shortest name in the world Å
It was already evening when we arrived at the end of the Lofoten Islands.
There are some cod on display here which is a bit scary to see at night😅
After finishing this town, return to Moskenes and take a boat back to the main island of Norway.
We are currently unable to book ferry tickets online and need to book two hours in advance.
There is no ticket office at the venue
So I wanted to try my luck and ask if I could just standby to board the ship.
Unexpectedly, the sailor who checked the tickets only asked for our information.
Just let us get on the boat.
I still don’t know if I paid or not😅😅

What is Å ?
#celebratewithtrip
Å is a fishing village in the Lofoten Islands, found at the end of the road connecting the islands together and with the mainland. We can rent a car drive to Lofoten and all the way out to the end at Å. It takes about two hours to drive from the capital city of Lofoten, Svolvær, to Å (one way).
Great views & experience!!
