Came to the south of Portugal for vacation, this time choosing to stay in the newest five-star hotel in the Algarve region. The whole resort is quite big. We chose to take Fixbus🚌 from Lisbon to 📍Albufeira and then take Uber to the hotel. 🏨The welcome drink when checking in to the hotel is sparkling wine from Portugal🥂 The hotel has its own beach, but the sand is quite coarse, and there are cliffs on both sides, which is very spectacular⛰️🌊 The hotel is decorated with an ocean theme, and the exterior facade resembles shells and fish scales🐟 Overall experience score 9/10

To end my Portugal scene, i finally settled for the coastal city, #albufeira. We booked two weeks at a 5-star all-inclusive and received exactly what we expected. There was absolutely nothing we could criticize here. It's a very beautiful hotel situated in a peaceful area. The pool area is stunning and the beach is fantastic. A bus runs hourly to Lagos, costing 1.2€ per person. There's also a hop-on-hop-off transfer that goes up to the cliffs—5€ for a single ride or 6€ for an all-day ticket. Additionally, the train to Faro stops almost right by the hotel, with fares to Albufeira costing 5.2€. It was simply a breathtakingly beautiful vacation.

Traveling around Portugal by bus is generally convenient, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, schedule delays are the norm. Buses are constantly late, and the mobile app often doesn't reflect these delays, leaving you nervous while waiting at the stop. Secondly, there are no announcements on the electronic screens at bus stations, only voice messages in Portuguese. It's difficult to navigate. Thirdly, some cities don't even have bus stations. Just a pole with a sticker saying "Flux bus stop." There's no shelter, no bench, no dispatcher to clarify information (in Faro, for example). And there's no Wi-Fi on the buses (I've used Flux bus, Alsa, and Rede Expressos). #portugal

Albufeira, on our last day really gave everything. 😊 Even with the May rain and a thunderstorm at night, it was still cosy and pleasant — perfect in a shorts-and-shirt kind of way. And when the sun came out, it felt properly hot, the kind of weather that makes you fancy a pint and just soak up the vibe. Pre-season is honestly the best time to go: fewer crowds, great energy, and still absolutely stunning and the day was full of fun from start to finish.#beachlife #pre-season #Algarve

Starting off in the old town of Albuferia you’re guided to wait in a local cafe to wait to be called for your tour. Once called you’re led to your boat for the tour where the welcoming crew take photos as you board before seated for a quick safety brief. After leaving the safety of the harbour walls the sea quickly turns to slight waves before you power your way west along the coast stopping along the way to show you different cliffs and the world famous hole in the roof of the cave. After the cave you punch your way out through the waves on the hunt to find dolphins in the wild. After a while we had given up hope before our tour guide made a sharp u turn and in the distance a few boats had found a pod of dolphins which to see in the wild is absolutely fantastic. Before long it’s time to head home and in no time you’re back in the old town. Would highly recommend this tour
