Words can't describe how truly majestic and serene this place is. One of the last stops on my trip through Tibet was NAMTSO LAKE. This was the most vibrant lake and it stretched on for ages. It lies at an elevation of 4,718 meters or about 15,500 feet and is the largest salt lake in the autonomous region. Getting to the lake was an especially unique experience. After checking in to get out entrance tickets, we boarded an eco friendly bus and travelled 20 minutes to get to the lake. It is very serene and well preserved. There is also a monastery near by to visit. It was quite windy during our visit so I highly recommend a jacket and ear warmers. My favorites💕 were the complimentary massage chair💆 and the bidet function😄. The mattress🛏️ had just the right firmness I prefer. The bathroom features separate sink, toilet, and shower🚿 areas. Individually packaged towels prevent cross-contamination, and the hotel even provides free disposable toilet seat covers. The spotless laundry room, dedicated parking, and on-site supermarket added to the convenience.
