Hello everyone! 🤟 Since my previous post about Yunding Mountain Stone City and Ciyun Temple received good views, but only featured autumn photos with yellow ginkgo leaves, I decided to visit again in April to see how it looks and share my experience with you. During my weekend visit, I discovered a spot that most guides miss—Yuanjue Ancient Temple. Though small and only taking about 10 minutes to explore, why am I highlighting it? Because its architecture hasn't undergone modern restoration! Built during the Ming Dynasty and renovated in the Qing Dynasty, it preserves ancient architectural techniques. You can see clear differences in the eaves and pillars compared to Ciyun Temple, making it well worth a visit. The best part? When navigating to Yunding Stone City, you'll pass right by Yuanjue Ancient Temple! It's perfectly on the way—the ancient temple is halfway up Yunding Mountain, while the stone city sits at the summit! Regarding hiking difficulty, families with children can easily complete the journey from the scenic area entrance via the Dragon Ridge Ancient Path to Ciyun Temple. The round trip takes just over 2 hours with stops along the way—very manageable. If you prefer not to hike, you can drive directly through the scenic area entrance to Ciyun Temple. Hiking enthusiasts can park at the mountain gate at the foot of the mountain and start climbing from there, so there are plenty of options. As for the scenery, I can only say spring is wonderful! While autumn might be great for viewing ginkgo trees, spring is definitely superior in every other way! Just compare the photos from this post with my previous ones to see the difference! | I’ve been to “Shuye Coffee” in Jintang for you guys… [Chin] I heard that this tree house coffee shop in Jintang is very popular, so I quickly chose a sunny day to go there! 🚗It takes about 1 hour to get there from Chengdu! The highway conditions were very good throughout the journey! There is only a small section of road when you are almost there! Be careful of the wrong car~ [Coke] I personally feel that the overall area is not too large, but the environment is well arranged. It is located next to the farmland, very natural and relaxing! The cabin in the trees is the stuff of childhood dreams. [Remember to book the tree house in advance] There are large glass floor-to-ceiling windows, hollow wooden windows, and hemp rope nets that are great for taking photos ~ You can feel the careful planning in every corner! ☕There are also many locations to choose from outdoors, including lawns, bamboo forests, and tree house platforms. It is so relaxing to lie on a chair, bask in the warm sunshine through the gaps between the trees, and listen to the rustling of leaves in the wind. ps: Tiramisu is good! You can buy food and Chinese souvenirs at the street stalls. You can buy various accessories such as necklaces made with pearls from the white pearl oyster, a Hainan souvenir, and products made with crystals. When I visit FubingJe, I always buy chocolates and candies as Chinese souvenirs at a large mart. It was also great to walk around the streets at night while shopping.

This place is truly off the beaten path, with almost no one around during the week. The peach blossoms are currently in full bloom, while the pear blossoms are starting to wither. 🚗Navigate to "Jintang Jinfu Village Group 16" ①This is within the village, and there is no parking lot. I parked in a villager's courtyard (the owner not only didn't charge us, but also enthusiastically told us the flower viewing route, so grateful ❤️). You can also find a suitable spot on the roadside to park. ②The last 1 km of the country road is very narrow and difficult for cars to pass each other. Fortunately, this place is not well-known, so there are very few cars. If you're really worried, you can park your car on the main road and walk in. ③After parking, continue forward, and you will see a large peach blossom forest and pear blossom forest. Walk around the small road, and you can also see a large field of rapeseed flowers. This loop is less than 2 km, very easy, and suitable for all ages! ④Please don't pick the flowers or shake the trees to create petal rain when taking photos of the peach and pear blossoms! Don't step on the crops! Don't litter! ⑤There are no businesses or restrooms here. ⑥You can bring your own food for a picnic or find something to eat after enjoying the flowers. ⑦There are vendors selling ponkans at the highway exit for 3–5 yuan/jin. ⑧Changlin Flower Sea, which is about a 10-minute drive away, offers views of rapeseed flowers. The best place for photos 📸 is at the entrance gate, where the temple is framed by cherry blossom trees🌳 in spring. If you’re looking for a quiet, spiritual stop, this is the perfect place to relax and recharge 💯 📍Guanyin Temple, Guanyinsi Town, Jintang, Sichuan, China Jintang is famous for its freshwater fish hotpot 🐟 and we couldn’t resist trying it! The broth is spicy and flavorful, and the fish is incredibly tender. No need to navigate to Yanjing Village Health Center. Just follow the track as you approach Jisan Road. Once you align with the intended route, park freely in any roadside clearing. Parking fees are flexible, ranging from free to CNY 10. Embark on the 9-plus km loop. The first half boasts clear paths and picturesque views. Farmlands, colorful forests, firethorn bushes, and vast stretches of what appear to be reeds (perhaps Miscanthus or Triarrhena—let's not get bogged down) unfold before you. You'll likely encounter fellow hikers along the way. At the highest point, a farmhouse restaurant offers delicious meals like firewood chicken, wild vegetables, and stir-fries. It's said to be the peak of the Longquanshan Mountains. The second half involves navigating between paved roads and jungle trails. Some sections are slightly hidden, requiring a bit of exploration, and you'll encounter fewer people. Watch your step, as cut tree stumps litter the ground and can easily trip you up.
