Bicycle City Tour
I started my Gyeongsang-do tour in Busan
After work, I stayed at Centum Station-Yeongcheon Station for 1 night
I traveled 2 days and 1 night from Yeongcheon Station-Yeongju Station-Sangju Station-Gimcheon
In particular, Sangju is a place with memories
And I would like to share information on hidden restaurants and those who like to travel
They provide free bicycles right next to Sangju Station
And I liked that I could ride without time restrictions until 5 PM
And I was able to eat and rest at a good price for Sangju's famous chicken feet, tteokbokki, and tteok restaurants
I want to try Ugeoji Jjamppong and Sondubu at Jeonchamsi recently. 👍 👍 #Sangju #Bicycle #Memories #Recommendation

Hiking course recommended even for beginners
Even little kids👨👩👧👧 can often meet, so I recommend the Sokri Mountain Beopjusa hiking course⛰️ that is perfect for beginners!
[Address] : Beopjusa small parking lot (26-1 Sanae 8-gil, Sokri-san-myeon, Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do)
[Fee] : 5,000 won
[Beopjusa entrance fee] : 5,000 won
[Entry hours: Summer, April to October] : Sesimjeong~Munjangdae 4:00~15:00
✔️ The fall foliage is also beautiful, but there are so many people that it is likely to literally become a parking hell. Leave early in the morning during the fall foliage season.
✔️ If you start from the Hwabuk course on the other side of Beopjusa, you don't have to pay the entrance fee, but the course is shorter and the difficulty level is slightly higher.

Sangju ‘Nakdong Riverside Multipurpose Plaza’, a popular outdoor camping spot
Spring is coming, the weather is getting warmer, so it seems like the camping season is back! I went in the middle of winter when it was -7 degrees, but it's a better place when the weather is warm like these days.
The charm of open-air camping is that there is no check-out time! It was nice to be able to sleep in late and rest until late in the afternoon. There is a clean bathroom at the Nakdong Riverside Multipurpose Plaza, so it was a great open-air camping spot for camping. The sunset is also pretty, and Sangju Gyeongcheon Island is right next to it, so it's a great place for sightseeing!

Sangju Hamchang Saetogong Wang Sundae, Mungyeong Cafe Ramil
Since Sundae Gukbap is famous, there were quite a few customers even though it was late at night. I took a picture of one bowl of pork soup, one bowl of sundae soup, and one bowl of sundae jjigae because I was so hungryㅋㅋㅋ They gave me a lot of side dishes and it was savory without any gamey smell, so I ate a bowl of sundae jjigae and noodles in one go. Since the breads in the rattan and plant brunch showcase are also famous, I was determined to go. I’ll fill up on overeating and lighten my stomach with a bowl of aoa and dacquoise, and since it’s a brunch cafe, I’ll taste something and talk about it^*^

Visiting Gyeongcheon Island in Sangju, Gyeongbuk
#sustainabletravel #carbonfootprint #walkingtravel
There are many tourist attractions in Sangju, Gyeongbuk.
This time, I will introduce Gyeongcheon Island Park.
The weather was so nice that I took a Sangju city bus.
Right in front of Sangju Terminal,
take bus number 250 and in about 30 minutes,
you can get off at Donam Seowon in front of Gyeongcheon Island.
It was easy to get there by bus and really easy to find.
The weather was nice and the location was nice,
so there were a lot of people riding bicycles.
In these days when the weather is nice and flowers are blooming,
I recommend a park picnic using public transportation!

The place where the craftsman's touch lives and breathes, Heosi Silk Mill
I went on a trip to Sangju, Gyeongbuk with my mother.
When you think of Sangju, Gyeongbuk, what comes to mind?ㅎㅎ
It's a place famous for silk threads pulled from silkworm cocoonsㅎㅎ
The process by which the masters make silk fabrics and scarves with the threads one by one is truly amazing.
I used to think of it as just an expensive scarf or expensive clothes, but when I learned that it takes a lot of time and effort to make it, I couldn't help but wonder if I could even value the effort.
It's a perfect place to go for field experience learning with children, and it seems like a good place to go on a family trip.

Enjoy leisurely Sangju new cafe! Myeongju Garden🌳ᴗ̈
I visited my grandmother's house in Sangju during the Lunar New Year and there were a lot of #new cafes, so I visited the most famous #Myeongju Garden! Like the cafes that are opening these days, it was a #large cafe, and there were a lot of people and it was pretty ˙ᵕ˙ The menu I want to recommend is #Myeongju Latte! It was sweet, soft, and really delicious ᴗ̈
#It's a cafe where you can bring your dog, but only outdoor tables are available☺️ There are a lot of outdoor tables, and it's so nice to sit outside and enjoy the warm sunlightㅠ🤍
If you go to the back garden, there's a small #prop shop, so it's nice to look around! If you go to Sangju, I recommend visiting!👍

When your heart is tired, when you need quiet comfort, Hoejangnaru Tourist Attraction
#OutdoorDate
When the wind blows, the leaves sway,
and when the sunlight seeps in, my heart becomes warm.
The place where I could feel that simple truth again,
was Sangju Hoesangnaru 🍂🌤️
📍 A quiet atmosphere from the entrance of the Hanok village,
and the sounds of birds and the river in between…
Nature tells me a lot without saying a word 🪵🍃
🚶♂️ As I walked along the Nakganggyo Bridge,
the sunlight shining on the river, and the expressions of the people walking alongside me,
were all peaceful.
A time to pause from my busy days and look at myself ✨
🌅 As the sun was setting,
the Nakdong River seen from the veranda of the guesthouse pension
remained an unforgettable sight. Without unnecessary words, just being 'there' was enough for a moment 🌙
🍲 At a traditional tavern,
A warm meal filled with simple affection,
📸 At the observatory, I felt again that the world is vast and my day is truly precious.
"It's okay to take a step slower."
It was a trip where I felt those words with my whole body.
When I'm tired, when I need quiet comfort,
It's a place I definitely want to come back to 🤍

Into the quiet time flowing along the Nakdong River, Hoesangnaru Tourist Site
#OutdoorDate
A quiet walk along the Nakdong River
A day of quiet steps 🍃
Sangju Hoesangnaru was a space where the tranquility of Hanok, the warmth of tradition, and the generosity of nature all came together 🪵🏡
🚶♀️ That morning while walking on the Nakgang Bridge, looking at the misty river,
I thought, ‘Ah, this is why people come here.’
A moment when even the sound of the wind felt like comfort 🌫️🌬️
At the Hanok Pension ‘Gaekjuchon,’ I sat on the wooden floor full of the scent of trees
And watched the slowly flowing sunset.
A night that was emotional enough even without quiet music 🌙
And… A meal at a traditional tavern that you can’t miss!
My heart was filled with neat food and sweet makgeolli 🍲🍶
You must experience this. I'm serious :)
📍 It was a place that told me that it was okay to walk a little slower, a little more leisurely, to me who was always busy running.
It was a travel destination that I want to visit again,
a place that leaves a deep impression on my heart 🤍

A place to experience the nostalgic taste and warmth of the past, Sangju Jumak.
🍽️ Nostalgic flavors and warmth at Sangju Jumak
While traveling with a friend in Sangju, we stopped by Sangju Jumak near the Nakdong River bike path. It's a famous drama filming location, so we visited with a mix of excitement and anticipation. It truly felt like stepping into an 'old countryside grandmother's house.'
Sitting under the thatched roof, the cool breeze made us forget the summer heat. We enjoyed cold noodles and a glass of Eunjagol makgeolli while sitting on the wooden floor, and the savory tofu pancakes melted in our mouths! 🍻
The surrounding scenery was stunning, making it a perfect spot for Instagram-worthy photos. Eating while gazing at the view across the river made the experience even more special!
If you're biking along the Nakdong River, I highly recommend stopping by for delicious food and a refreshing glass of makgeolli. I'll definitely visit again next time!

Walking Along the River Breeze, Discovering Warmth at Sangju Jumak
🌾 A Bowl of Warmth Found Along the River Breeze — Sangju Jumak
On a summer afternoon when the sunlight had softened,
I was walking along the Nakdong River bike path
and heard the laughter of people under a thatched roof.
That place turned out to be Sangju Jumak.
At first, I thought it was a drama set,
but it turned out to be a real 'authentic' tavern serving meals.
Sitting on the wooden floor, gazing at the greenery across the river,
I enjoyed a plate of tofu pancakes and a glass of Eunjagol makgeolli🍶.
In that moment, my heart felt at peace, and time seemed to flow more slowly.
A bowl of cold noodles captured the essence of summer💧.
It felt like being at grandma's house, filled with warmth and nostalgia.
That single meal was enough to bring comfort and solace.
📸
The thatched roof, traditional jars, curtains swaying in the breeze—
no matter where you sit, the scenery feels like a postcard.
It was a place where there were more moments to cherish with your eyes than to capture with a camera.
Amid the busyness of the weekend,
I was glad to have carved out a quiet moment to visit.
If you ever go to Sangju, make sure to stop by this jumak.
It’s just one meal, but it leaves a lasting memory.

A space where simply 'staying' holds meaning: Gyeongcheon Seolim
Walking along Gyeongcheon Island in Sangju 🌿, you'll find a small hanok quietly nestled at the end of a path infused with the scent of grass and the gentle breeze from the river. This is Gyeongcheon Seolim📚.
Without any signboards, music, or bustling crowds, this hidden gem by the Nakdong River offers a true space for 'rest.' Opening its low door, sunlight softly spreads across the wooden floor☀️.
Each small room is naturally and quietly arranged with tables, cushions🪑, and bookshelves filled with books. Everything feels effortless and serene.
I ordered coffee and cookies and took a seat by the window. Beyond the glass, I could see green fields, flowing river water, and fluttering curtains. Just gazing at the view brought a sense of peace🍃.
I opened a book but realized it was perfectly fine not to read a single line. Simply 'staying' here was meaningful enough.
Some were jotting down notes, while others sat quietly without saying a word. Nothing feels forced in this space. It's a place where you can simply be, just as you are✨.
📌 Tip
Visit on a quiet weekday morning for the best experience!
It's ideal to stop by after a stroll around Gyeongcheon Island🚶♀️.
Perfect for a break during a cycling trip, sipping tea instead of coffee.
On days when you want to escape the city and quietly stay for yourself, remember Gyeongcheon Seolim.

🪵 An Afternoon in a Bookstore in a Hanok — Gyeongcheonseorim
Nakdonggang Riverside, Sangju, Heading to Gyeongcheon Island along the bike path
Following the small signposts, you come across a Hanok.
That's Gyeongcheonseorim.
It looks like a quiet traditional house from the outside,
but the moment you open the door and step inside,
all your senses are calmed by books, teacups, sunlight, and scents.
The interior is a space that preserves the original structure of the room,
with a few tables, and small, deep books on each bookshelf.
A real 'seorim' where you can feel the owner's curation, from literature, essays, design, and philosophy.
🍃 When you sit on the floor and look out the window,
green fields, rivers, and curtains swaying in the wind—
a picture unfolds that doesn't need any frame.
📌 Tip
On weekends, I recommend going at opening time!
It's a great route to stop by after a walk on Gyeongcheon Island
It's also good to stop by during a bike trip!
The stationery and tea sets in the prop shop are also very pretty
If you love books,
If you're looking for rest and quiet inspiration,
You should definitely stop by Gyeongcheon Seorim.

The breath of literature flowing along the river, Sangju Nakdonggang Literature Museum
#IndoorDate
🍃 Visit to Sangju Nakdonggang Literature Museum | The Breath of Literature Flowing Along the River
On a leisurely weekend, I suddenly wanted to contemplate in a quiet place, so I visited the Sangju Nakdonggang Literature Museum. The literature museum, which I arrived at along Gyeongcheondae, Nakganggyo, and the calm river, was immersed in a quiet atmosphere, as if time had stopped for a moment.
As I entered the beautiful Hanok building, the history and scent of literature of the Nakdonggang River filled the space. In the central hall, poems and records related to the three major pavilions of the Nakdonggang River, Yeonghoru, Gwansuru, and Yeongnamru, were on display, and in each exhibition room, I could feel the breath of the writers from Sangju.
The most impressive room was the second exhibition room, which deals with the ‘Nakgang Poetry Society.’
The elegance of scholars reciting poetry by the river hundreds of years ago was captured in the painting called ‘Nakyucheop,’ which made me feel as if I was sitting there and sharing poetry.
I also learned for the first time that Sangju was a 'village of poetry', and my heart warmed as I looked at the handwritten manuscripts and works of children's literature writers.
I thought it would be a good place to come with children.
Going outside and crossing the Nakgang Bridge, I felt as if the scent of literature was spreading over the flowing waves.
Although it is called a literature museum, this place is not just an exhibition space, but a place of rest where you can organize your mind and fill your quiet emotions.
📍 I would definitely recommend this to those who like literature or want to spend a leisurely day along the quiet riverside scenery.

Walking along the river, a literary journey unfolds at Sangju Nakdong River Literature Hall
🌿 Walking along the river, a literary journey unfolds at Sangju Nakdong River Literature Hall
As you stroll along the Nakdong River, you might stumble upon a space where time seems to have paused. Nestled quietly by the riverside, the traditional Korean-style literature hall feels like a small poetry book, blending the breeze, the sound of water, and the lines of old verses.
Inside the exhibition hall, the story of 'Nakgang Poetry Society,' which spanned over 600 years from the late Goryeo to the late Joseon period, unfolds. Gazing at the 'Nakyucheop,' a collection capturing the scenes of scholars reciting poetry on boats floating on the river, I found myself stopping in my tracks. Though time has passed, the elegance and sentiment of those days seem to still breathe here.
I also learned for the first time that Sangju is a hub for literary figures and a birthplace of children's literature. Looking at a small children's poem and handwritten manuscripts resembling a child's handwriting warmed my heart. This place reminded me how literature can quietly touch the soul.
After leaving the literature hall, I walked to Gyeongcheon Island. The sunlight spreading over the river, the gentle breeze, and the lingering aura of the literature hall behind me. When I need a moment of rest or wish to embark on a solo journey, I think this place will come to mind.
📖
"Poetry is not something to read but to dwell in."
Today, I dwelled in the Nakdong River Literature Hall and returned with a line of poetry etched in my heart.

The place I visited this time is Urim, a bamboo forest emotional cafe in Sangju. It’s a great space from the outside.
It was a really nice space that caught my eye when I visited two years ago, and it still felt the same even after a long time!
I visited on a date.

It seems like a good place to spend time with your parents.
There used to be a huge cat wandering around, but it seems like the cats moved to a different space.
It seems like they also run a cat cafe.
