When visiting Seoul, skip the crowded Seongsu-dong and Hongdae. Instead, explore the niche Ikseon-dong. You can walk into any Hanok cafe or dessert shop, and every photo will be instantly photogenic. 🏡 Ikseon-dong is quite small and filled with Hanok shops. Each store has its own unique design, with many preserving the original Hanok architecture, complemented by courtyard designs featuring greenery. If you get tired from walking, just pop into any shop for a coffee and some dessert—it's a wonderful experience.

If you're new to Seoul and want to combine palaces, beautiful views, trendy neighborhoods, and atmospheric strolls, here's my 3-day itinerary for you ✨ 🏯 Day 1 – Traditional Seoul and City Panoramic Views We start at Bukchon Hanok Village, a charming village with atmospheric streets lined with traditional Korean hanok houses. It's best to arrive in the morning, when there aren't many people around, but keep in mind that talking and making noise in this area are prohibited. Next is the main palace, Gyeongbokgung, where you can also rent a traditional hanbok dress and take photos. Not far from the palace is an urban wonder right in the middle of the city: Cheonggyecheon Stream. In the evening, we head to Namsan Park, next to which there's also a hanok village where you can try traditional Korean games. Then we'll climb to the N Seoul Tower for a panoramic view of Seoul at sunset. You can take the cable car or walk up. We'll finish the day with a visit to Namdaemun Gate and a stroll through Myeongdong, featuring neon signs, shopping, and Korean street food. 📍 Bukchon → Gyeongbokgung → Cheonggyecheon → Namsan → N Seoul Tower → Namdaemun → Myeongdong ⛰️ Day 2 - Hiking, Palaces, and Evening Lights We start the morning from Inwangsan Mountain. From the top, incredible views of Seoul and the surrounding mountains open up. After descending, we head to Changdeokgung Palace, then swap historical Seoul for futuristic one, heading to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), designed by Zaha Hadid. The final stop of the day is Naksan Park—the perfect spot for an evening stroll along the city wall and beautiful views of Seoul at night. 📍 Inwangsan → Changdeokgung → Danbongmun Gate → DDP → Naksan Park ☕️ Day 3—Modern and Stylish Seoul We begin with a leisurely stroll through Seoul Forest Park, then explore Seongsu—one of the city's trendiest neighborhoods. Coffee shops, concept stores, unusual shops, and pop-ups—it's easy to spend a few hours here. Afterwards, a stroll along the Han River and a visit to the popular Instagram Starfield Library will conclude our journey in the famous Gangnam district, surrounded by skyscrapers, shops, and the bright lights of the big city. 📍 Seoul Forest → Seongsu → Starfield Library → Gangnam ✨ In these three days, you can see a completely different Seoul: ancient palaces and hanoks, mountains, parks, night panoramas, trendy neighborhoods, and modern architecture. 📌 Save this itinerary if you're planning a trip to Seoul! #seoul #southkorea

What makes the season special is the contrast: ancient palaces covered in autumn leaves on one side, and Seoul’s modern skyline and neon lights on the other. 📍 Seoul, South Korea 🍁 Best season: Usually October–November 📸 Perfect for: palace walks, ginkgo streets, cafés, hanbok photos & sunset views If you could spend one autumn day in Seoul, would you choose a palace, a mountain, or a golden ginkgo street? 🍂✨ #fallcolors

This is Eunpyeong Hanok Village (은평한옥마을) — a hanok village at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain. And here is why I recommend paying attention to it: 🏡 Practically no tourist crowds. You can peacefully wander the streets, admire the hanoks, and take photos instead of waiting for the next group of tourists to leave the shot. ⛰️ And those views! Traditional Korean houses + the massive Bukhansan mountains in the background — a combination that makes this place completely different from central Bukchon. 📸 Extremely photogenic. The rows of hanoks look especially beautiful against the mountain backdrop. If you want photos with a "real Korea" vibe, I would definitely add this spot to your list. ☕ You can do more than just walk around. The village itself has hanok cafes, and nearby are the Eunpyeong History Hanok Museum and Jingwansa Temple — so it’s easy to turn the trip into a full half-day itinerary. There is one important nuance: Eunpyeong Hanok Village is a modern hanok village, not a historical district with preserved old houses. It was built from scratch in 2014 as a traditional-style residential complex. So if you want to see the historical Bukchon, choose Bukchon. But if you want beautiful hanoks, mountains, peace, and a much more relaxed atmosphere, I’d go to Eunpyeong. 🤍 Save this place if you’re planning a trip to Seoul 🇰🇷 Have you been to Eunpyeong Hanok Village already, or is this the first time you’re hearing about it?

Seoul has two airports: Incheon (ICN) and Gimpo (GMP). If you're arriving in Korea for the first time, here are detailed instructions: where to find the subway, which train to take, where to buy bus tickets, and how to avoid overpaying for a taxi. ✈️ Incheon (ICN) Incheon is located far from the center, in a different city, so there are several options: 🚆 1. AREX (trains) - the most affordable option After claiming your luggage, follow the signs for Airport Railroad / AREX. 📍 Terminal 1: Go down to B1, Transportation Center. 📍 Terminal 2: Also go down to B1 and look for the signs for AREX. AREX offers two types of trains: 🟠 Express Train — the train travels nonstop directly to Seoul Station. This is the fastest option, taking approximately 45-50 minutes depending on the terminal. A ticket costs ₩13,000 (approximately 800 rubles). A seat is assigned to each passenger and a separate ticket is required; T-Money is not available. Tickets can be purchased in the AREX area at B1, either from a ticket machine or at the Express counter. 🔵 All Stop Train (regular subway) — the most affordable option, but the journey takes slightly longer. The train stops at all subway stations, including Gimpo Airport, Digital Media City, Hongik University (Hongdae), and Gongdeok. The journey to Seoul Station takes about an hour and costs: · Terminal 1 → Seoul Station — ₩4,750 with a transit card · Terminal 2 → Seoul Station — ₩5,350 with a transit card. You can use a T-money card for this journey: swipe the card at the entrance → swipe it at the exit. T-money cards can be purchased at the airport, near the subway entrance, or at any convenience store. They cost around ₩3,000 (180 rubles). If you buy a physical SIM card at the airport, you'll receive a T-money card as a gift; all you have to do is top it up. 🚌 2. Airport Limousine Bus The bus is convenient because many routes go directly to popular areas of Seoul, and sometimes the stop is much closer to your hotel than the subway. For routes to Seoul, the current benchmark price is approximately ₩16,000–18,000 (RUB 1,000–1,100), depending on the route. The journey typically takes approximately 60–90 minutes, but varies greatly depending on the area and traffic. From Incheon, there are routes to the following areas: 📍 Myeongdong / Jung-gu 📍 Dongdaemun 📍 Hongdae / Mapo 📍 Seoul Station 📍 Gangnam / Jamsil 📍 Yeouido 📍 Jamsil 📍 Wangsimni / Seongdong and other areas. It's best to check routes and stops for your travel date on the official website, as they are subject to change. Where to buy a ticket? Terminal 1: After exiting the arrivals hall, look for "Bus Ticket" / "Airport Bus." Ticket offices and machines are located on the 1st floor, including near gates 4 and 9, and at other exits. Terminal 2: The bus terminal is located at B1 Transportation Center. Some routes allow you to use a transport card or pay by credit card, but rules differ for intercity/airport routes, so it's easier to buy a ticket at an official ticket office or machine. 🚕 3. Taxi It's important not to take the first taxi offered to you after exiting the airport. The airport officially warns about cases of unauthorized ride solicitation and price gouging by illegal call-vans posing as taxis. Therefore, go only to an official Taxi Stand, and check the applicable fare and your destination before your trip. ✈️ Gimpo (GMP) This is where things get much simpler. Gimpo is located practically in the city, so the metro is the main budget option. 🚇 1. The subway is the cheapest option After exiting the airport, look for the Subway/Metro signs. Several lines intersect at Gimpo Airport Station: 🟤 Line 5 🟣 Line 9 🔵 AREX (Airport Railroad) 🟢 Gimpo Goldline The station is located next to the airport; the official airport signage indicates that it can be accessed from the west side of the first floor. Use T-money to travel—the card is available upon entry and exit. 🚌 2. Bus from Gimpo Gimpo has city buses and private limousine buses. For regular city buses, it's best to check the specific route on Naver Map/KakaoMap—the airport also offers searches for city bus routes through the signage. In the international terminal, bus stops are located in front of the building on the first floor. In the domestic terminal, city and limousine buses are located outside on the first floor. There's also bus 6707A between Gimpo and Incheon—it costs ₩7,500 (500 rubles). But if you're heading straight to central Seoul, the subway is usually easier and cheaper. 🚕 3. Taxi from Gimpo Taxis are also officially available here. From the international terminal, go to the official taxi area in front of the building. From the domestic terminal, taxis are located opposite gates 4–6. As a guide, the official airport lists the following approximate fares from Gimpo: · Hongdae — about ₩15,000 (1,000 rubles) · Myeongdong — about ₩20,000 (1,300 rubles) · Seoul City Hall — about ₩22,000 (1,400 rubles) · Gangnam Station — about ₩28,000 (1,800 rubles) · Dongdaemun — about ₩26,000 (1,600 rubles) These are approximate prices without traffic; the final cost may vary. I had a list of famous places to visit in Seoul, but some of my favorite moments happened when I completely ignored it. One afternoon, I left the busy streets of Myeongdong and wandered into a quieter neighborhood with no real plan. I found a tiny local bakery tucked between residential buildings. There were only a few customers inside, and I ended up trying a sweet red bean pastry with a cup of coffee. It was simple, but somehow more memorable than some of the places I had planned to visit. Later, I stumbled across a small traditional market where older locals were shopping for vegetables, seafood, and homemade side dishes. I couldn’t understand most of the conversations around me, but I loved watching everyday Seoul unfold. I also found a little alley filled with independent cafés and small stationery shops near Ikseon dong. It felt completely different from the crowded tourist areas. That day reminded me why I enjoy traveling without following an itinerary too strictly. The places I discover by accident often become the stories I remember most. For me, that’s the real fun of #localdiscoveries. #localdiscoveries #Seoul #SouthKorea #KoreaTravel #TravelMoments #localdiscoveries

Sometimes, the journey itself becomes a memorable part of a trip. My flight to Seoul was a really pleasant experience. Everything felt comfortable, and I could enjoy the journey instead of thinking only about how soon I would arrive. But what made this flight especially memorable was how I decided to spend my time in the air. I took out my Korean handwriting practice sheets and started writing! I had been practising Korean, and the flight turned out to be a perfect opportunity to continue. I never expected that part of my travel time would feel like a little language lesson above the clouds. There was something special about travelling to South Korea while practising the language of the country I was about to visit. It made me feel even more connected to the upcoming adventure. Learning a few words and getting used to writing Korean characters was also a nice way to prepare for the trip. Before travelling, there is always so much to organise. We think about our itinerary, pack our suitcases, check tickets, and try to remember all the little things we need. Sometimes, our personal plans get pushed aside because there simply isn’t enough time. Once I was on the plane, I finally had a quiet moment to focus on something I wanted to do. I like the idea that a flight can be more than just the time between two airports. It can be an opportunity to read, learn something new, organise your thoughts, or simply relax and enjoy the view outside the window. Everyone has their own way of making those hours feel worthwhile. For me, practising Korean was a lovely start to my South Korean adventure. Now I’m curious about other travellers! #polltime #seoultravel #southkoreatravel #travelbyplane #travelmoments #learningkorean #hotdiscussions

If you've come to Seoul and haven't visited Gyeongbokgung Palace, you've missed out on the city. This majestic palace complex is more than just an open-air museum; it's a place where traditional Korea meets modernity. Walking through its vast grounds feels like a journey through time: skyscrapers rise all around, and hundreds of years of stone slabs lie beneath your feet. 🌟 What makes this place special: · Historical significance: Gyeongbokgung Palace was built in 1395 and remained the main residence of the royal family of the Joseon Dynasty. It is the largest and most beautiful of Seoul's five great palaces. · Changing of the Guard: Every day, a colorful changing of the guard ceremony takes place at the main gate, Gwanghwamun, and has become one of the city's signature events. It's a sight worth seeing with your own eyes. · Geunjeongjeon Throne Hall: The palace's most majestic building, where coronations and major state ceremonies took place. Sculptures of mythical creatures guard the entrance. · Gyeonghoeru Pavilion: A picturesque pavilion standing on 48 granite columns in the middle of a lake was formerly used to receive foreign ambassadors. 📌 Useful Information: · Address: 161, Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul. · Opening Hours: 9:00–18:00 (closed on Tuesdays). · Getting there: Gyeongbokgung Subway Station (Line 3), Exit 5. · Cost: Admission is charged (approximately 3,000 won). Important: If you are wearing a traditional Korean hanbok, admission is free. 💡 Travel tip: Be sure to rent a hanbok from one of the many shops near the palace. This not only saves money but also allows you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere. Wearing the traditional garment, you'll feel like a character in a historical drama, and the photos will be magical against the backdrop of the ancient pavilions. Incidentally, if you visit the National Palace Museum on the complex's grounds, you can learn more about the life and culture of that era.

At first glance, these cards seem to do roughly the same thing, but in reality, they serve different purposes. T-money is primarily used for transportation, while WOWPASS can replace a regular bank card for tourists—plus, it already has the T-money feature built in. So, which card should you take on a trip to Korea: one, both, or is T-money enough? Let's explore the differences and which option is best for your trip. 🚇 T-money — a transportation card T-money is useful for subway, bus, and taxi rides. You can also use it for payments at small convenience stores like 7-Eleven and vending machines. One T-money card works throughout the country: in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Jeju, and other places. 💰 Price: 2,500 won (approximately 140 rubles) 📍 Where to buy: CU, GS25, 7-Eleven stores, and also from vending machines at subway stations and the airport 💵 How to top up: cash in won at the same location On public transportation, you must tap your card on the terminal when entering and exiting. It's especially important to do this when exiting a bus, otherwise the maximum fare may be charged. If you transfer from the subway to a bus or vice versa within 30 minutes, you receive a discount. 💳 WOWPASS — a payment card for tourists WOWPASS is a fully functional card that can be used to pay for purchases in cafes and stores, cosmetics, taxis, and other expenses. It also has T-money built into it, so you can cover almost all your everyday payments during your trip with just one card. WOWPASS is issued with a passport. 💰 Price: 5,000 won (approximately 300 rubles) 📍 Where to get it: at WOWPASS vending machines located at airports, subway stations, and hotels. Scan your passport, insert cash, and your card is ready in a couple of minutes. 💵 How to top up: Cash in 16 currencies, including dollars, euros, and even yuan. The exchange rate can be better than at regular currency exchange offices. How to withdraw cash: at the same WOWPASS vending machines. The withdrawal fee is 1,000 won. Be sure to download the WOWPASS app. You can check your balance, view your spending history, and find the nearest vending machines. If you lose your card, you can block it with just one click. How to get a refund before your flight: If your balance is up to 20,000 won, you can get it at any store for a 500 won fee. In this case, only the balance is refunded; you keep the card itself. WOWPASS: You can withdraw the remaining funds in cash from a cash machine. ⚠️ But there's an important caveat: don't do this at Incheon Airport—the machines there don't dispense cash. However, you don't have to withdraw the remaining balance at all. T-money balances are valid for 5 years from the last top-up, while WOWPASS balances are valid for 6 years. If you plan to return to Korea, just keep the cards. That's exactly what we do. #seoul #southkorea #wowpass #tmoney #t-money

What to do if you lose your passport in Korea... What happens to your flight home!? 😱✈️ Even if you think "It won't happen to me," loss or theft strikes when you least expect it 🥲 Actually, one of my friends lost theirs 🥲 *It ended up being found at a club... I’ve summarized the emergency steps and required documents in 6 slides 🇰🇷📋 Save this before your trip! Here are the first 3 things to do 👇 ① Check your bag, hotel, and everywhere you've been ② Report it to the local police and get a certificate ③ Contact the Japanese Embassy or Consulate General If you need to get back to Japan in a hurry, there's an option called a "Travel Document for Return to Japan" 💡 Keep in mind, you can't use this to travel to other countries! You'll need photos, ID, proof of nationality, and your return flight schedule 📸 Even if you don't have your family register or ID with you, don't give up—talk to the staff at the counter first! Also, as a pre-trip precaution, you should know about the "Digital Family Register Pass" 📱✨ ✅ Free to get via the Myna Portal app ✅ It’s a 16-digit number valid for 3 months ✅ This system lets you skip submitting paper family register documents at overseas diplomatic missions! Ask at the application counter about how to use it for travel document applications in Korea 🙌 ⚠️ Once you file a loss report with Japanese authorities, your original passport becomes invalid even if you find it later Be aware that if you can't make your flight due to embassy holidays or missing paperwork, you might need to rebook your flight Share this with your travel buddies and stay prepared for the unexpected!!!

The Jongno 3-ga area, which was ranked as the "Coolest Neighborhood in the World" by British media, is a hot spot. Ikseon-dong, in particular, is very popular and gets extremely crowded after noon. One of my interesting discoveries in Seoul was Starfield Library, located inside COEX Mall in the Gangnam district. I had seen photos of this place before, especially the famous escalator surrounded by enormous bookshelves, so I really wanted to see it in person. The first thing that catches your eye is the impressive height of the shelves filled with books. The whole space looks beautiful and unusual, almost like a scene from a movie. I enjoyed taking my time to look at the books and explore the shelves. There were so many interesting details to notice, and I liked that this place is not only about taking photos. You can actually enjoy the atmosphere, browse the books, and simply spend some time there. Another nice thing is that you can have a coffee nearby. It is a lovely way to take a break, look around, and enjoy the surroundings instead of rushing through the library. Of course, I also wanted a photo on the famous escalator! 😂 This turned out to require a little patience. There were quite a lot of people, so we had to wait and choose the right moment when fewer visitors were in the frame. It was funny to see how everyone was trying to find the perfect angle for their photos. In the end, getting that picture became part of the experience too! Address: Starfield Library, COEX Mall, 513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. For me, this is a lovely example of Local Discoveries. It is not a traditional historical attraction, but it offers something different and memorable. If you are exploring Seoul, I recommend stopping by, even if you are not a passionate book lover. You can admire the architecture, look through the books, enjoy a coffee, and take some memorable photos. Have you visited Starfield Library? Did you manage to take a photo on the escalator without too many people around? 😊 #localdiscoveries #Seoul #StarfieldLibrary #SouthKorea #SeoulTravel #TravelPhotography #hotdiscussions

Exquisite Packaging: Premium handmade rice cake desserts beautifully presented to delight both the eyes and the palate. Atmosphere: A cozy, refined space where traditional aesthetics meet modern design for a clean and elegant vibe. Tip: Perfect for a sweet break while strolling through Ikseon-dong Hanok Village or Jongno 3-ga. For gift sets, we recommend making a reservation in advance for added convenience

Ever since the pandemic, flight prices to Japan and Korea have never really come back down. Round trips have been sitting at RM1,500+ for so long that sometimes I feel like adding just a little more could get me all the way to Europe. 🫠 So a trip to Korea nowadays is really not something we can wing it anytime—planning ahead is key to make an affordable trip. Thankfully, Vietnam Airlines (and Philippine Airlines) still have some humanity left in them, occasionally dropping fares below RM1,200 and giving our wallets a little breathing room. This June, Vietnam Airlines came out with one of the lowest fares to Korea I've seen in recent times: RM796 return to either Busan or Seoul! We could even mix and match, flying into one city and out of the other, so you don't have to backtrack. Better yet, there were dates available throughout almost the entire autumn season, from September to November! I wonder if Malaysia Airlines' generosity over the past two years has rubbed off on them. 🌚 (Please keep influencing each other!) Apart from the uniforms, which I think MH does better, I'd say Vietnam Airlines is in the same league when it comes to overall service and cabin comfort. Now, the in-flight meals have received plenty of criticism online, and admittedly, the presentation can be... questionable. But after trying them myself, I had no real complaints. In fact, there were even some pleasant surprises! All four flight legs came with meals, and every single one had a generous portion of protein. The first meal came with TWO big pieces of fish fillet. Fish is usually a risky choice for airline meals, but this one had almost no fishy smell (except for one bite). Then came the beef noodles on my final leg, where almost half the box was filled with beef! The meat was tender, well-braised and full of flavour. Absolutely satisfying. Two little details deserve special praise: 1. THEY SERVE WARM BREAD! Warm bread! Warm bread! WARM BREAD! Soft, fluffy and fragrant. I wouldn't call it amazing, but I genuinely can't remember the last time another airline did this in economy class. Especially after my recent flights with Chinese airlines, where the bread was dry, hard and cold. 🥲 2. They actually SHOW you the meal options. There's always that awkward moment when the cabin crew rattles off options A, B and C, and I can barely catch what they're saying. Asking them to repeat everything feels a little paiseh. Vietnam Airlines simply shows you pictures of the options instead. Such a thoughtful little touch. 😳 Of course, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. Behold, the saddest banana I've ever seen. 🍌 HOW EARLY WAS THIS POOR BABY SEPARATED FROM ITS MOTHER?! It's so green even the monkeys would turn it down. Are we actually expected to eat this?! 😩 All in all, at RM796 return, Vietnam Airlines offers incredible value for money. No complaints about the service, comfort or meals at this price. Next time they have a sale, don't overthink it. Just book! ✈️ #planitorwingit #cheapflightdeals #hotdiscussions #travelhacks #travel #korea

I don't understand why everyone is so desperate to visit Namsan Mountain, where it's packed with tourists and completely overhyped, when Seoul has Naksan Park with stunning views and a much more peaceful atmosphere. 🏯 Fortress Wall The ancient fortress wall is preserved here, and you can walk along it while enjoying the historical vibes and city panoramas. 🌿 An Easy Climb The ascent isn't difficult at all: there are stairs, convenient paths, and several routes to choose from. You can enter from one side of the park, walk through the area, and come down the other side. 📸 Stunning Photo Spots You'll find picturesque spots for photos along the way, and best of all—you get a view of Namsan and the famous N Seoul Tower from here! 🌅 Perfect Sunset Spot The park has benches where you can relax and admire the city. It’s especially atmospheric in the evening as the sun begins to set. Plus, another bonus: it’s much quieter here than at the popular tourist spots. During my walk, there were very few people, and most of them were locals. ✨ My advice: if you want beautiful views, a leisurely walk, and a side of Seoul without the constant crowds, definitely add Naksan Park to your itinerary. Sometimes the most interesting places are right next to the popular landmarks but remain in their shadow!

On the morning of May 19th, I rushed to the Pokémon event in Seoul to wait for the lottery. The lottery started at 9 AM, and there were already quite a few people queuing when I arrived. I drew number 33 and entered around 12:05 PM. After the lottery, I rushed to Ditto. But Ditto was too crowded, so I gave up. For those who want to go, it's recommended to go on two separate days to avoid crowds or rushing. Once inside, everyone, adults and children alike, was taking pictures and collecting gashapon (gacha) items. The Pokémon were so cute! To buy gifts, you need to scan a QR code first. After ordering online, you can collect your items and pay at the counter. They were already out of Poké Balls, so I asked the lady for help. Sell me one! Thank you so much for selling me one! 🥹 Then I went to the other side to pick up a fan and hat; there were Pikachu and Snorlax to choose from. The venue wasn't big, but it was great for taking photos and exploring. They also controlled the number of people entering, so it wasn't too crowded and I couldn't take pictures. Transportation suggestions: Take a taxi to Seoul Forest Station, Exit 9. The venue is right there. Take subway line 2 to Wangsimni Station, then transfer to the Suin/Bundang Line to Seoul Forest Station. Alternatively, take line 2 to Takdo Station, but that requires a 5-10 minute walk. This Pokémon trip was amazing! #Seoul #Pokémon30thAnniversary

We happened upon this delightful little café by chance this spring while admiring the cherry blossoms near Sungshin Women’s University, and what a wonderful discovery it was! Sisemdal Atelier is a small, cozy, and beautifully curated café that captures the charm of a traditional Korean hanok. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, with every thoughtful detail making the space feel truly special. I was particularly fond of the unique Korean desserts. They feature flavors and ingredients like mugwort and red bean—tastes that might be quite novel for European visitors. It’s a fantastic opportunity to step outside your comfort zone and try something new! Another charming touch is the creative corner, where you can design your own postcard to take home as a souvenir. It’s such a thoughtful way to preserve the memory of your visit. This place is a lovely hidden gem we found during a spring stroll. If you’re exploring this part of Seoul, I highly recommend dropping in! ☕️ Sisemdal Atelier 시샘달 아뜰리에 74-1 Bomun-ro 30-gil, Seongbuk District, Seoul, South Korea

"They interrogate you at the border." Is that really true? Honestly, no. In practice, entry turned out to be much easier than I expected. And most importantly, with a Russian passport, you don't need a visa. What you need to do: 👉Buy tickets to and from Korea, book accommodation. 👉Fill out the K-ETA (entry permit). You can pay with a foreign card or UnionPay. Fill it out carefully, and if you have any questions, write to me and I'll help you fill it out ;) 👉Fill out the entry card 3 days before arrival. 📢Additionally, I recommend: — make a daily travel plan + get insurance + save your accommodation and ticket reservations (and it's best to print them all out). Before the trip, I saw videos of people being turned away at the border, taken in for questioning... Basically, there are plenty of horror stories. But in reality, they didn't ask me anything at all. 🌥️About the weather: if you want to wear a dress or shorts, go in the summer. Even in early May, it can get up to 12 degrees Celsius here, with a strong wind. Well, welcome! #Korea, my 26th country
