Where to Enjoy Breakfast in Barcelona
🇪🇸 Barcelona, Spain
♥️ Cafetería Volcán Dorado
Whenever I visit Spain, I make sure to have Jamon Bocadillos for breakfast. In Spain, as you stroll around in the morning, you'll find open shops that typically sell Jamon Bocadillos, so you can stop by any of them. While wandering the streets of Barcelona in the morning, I noticed many locals enjoying coffee and Spanish-style sandwiches, so I decided to step into Cafetería Volcán Dorado.
I ordered a Jamon Bocadillo and a cappuccino, which cost a total of €7.10. First of all, the cappuccino was rich and creamy, exceeding my expectations. It was as good as the coffee you'd get at a specialty roastery. I hadn't expected much, but the cappuccino, complete with latte art and a perfect frothy texture, was delightful.
As for the Jamon Bocadillo, you can choose between one piece (€2.80) or two pieces (€5). I opted for the two-piece option, which was very filling. Typically, the bread in bocadillos is served cold, but here, it was warmed up, which added a nice touch. The jamon was savory, and the bread was complemented by tomato and olive oil, creating a perfect harmony of flavors.
It was a wonderful experience to enjoy authentic Jamon Bocadillos while soaking in the local atmosphere 🇪🇸♥️
