Marvel at colonial splendor in the shadow of volcanos

Arequipa is a wonderful city to while away a few days. The climate is great with warm days but cool nights. The scenery is marvelous as volcanos and snowy peaks make the backdrop for delicate colonial architecture. The food is delicious from roadside stalls to high level restaurants.
