A Place to See Alpacas for Free in Arequipa, Peru

Let us introduce Mundo Alpaca, a place where you can learn about and interact with alpacas without any admission fee. 📍Alameda San Lázaro 101, Arequipa 04001, Peru Peru is home to 80% of the world's alpacas, and Mundo Alpaca combines an alpaca museum with a direct sales shop. Here, you can learn about camelid animals like alpacas, their history, and how alpaca wool is turned into products. You can also see real alpacas and llamas up close and even feed them 🦙. In addition, there is a textile museum in collaboration with Yoshitaro Amano, the founder of the Amano Pre-Columbian Textile Museum in Lima. (Please note that photography and video recording are prohibited.) Although it is small in scale, it is highly recommended as it is very engaging! The visit takes approximately 30 minutes.
