Baguio City Walk｜Colorful Dopamine City.

🗺️A different kind of Philippines, a niche and artistic city: Baguio! This city is as artistic and beautiful as its name. It is a niche destination for Chinese tourists, but a popular tourist destination for Filipinos. With a comfortable temperature of around 20°C all year round, it is known as the "cool capital" of the Philippines. 🌆Downtown attractions: [One] Session Road💒 The main street of Baguio, lined with shops on both sides, perfect for shopping and eating. Cultural events are often held here. I happened to come across an environmental protection campaign, where people were drawing chalk art on the street. It was very cute. [Two] Baguio Cathedral🕌 A historic pink Catholic cathedral located on a high point in the city, blending in with the blue sky, solemn and romantic. [Three] Burnham Park🏡 A great place for a picnic, with shady lawns and many families having picnics. You can also go boating on the lake or ride various bikes. It is very relaxing. I have to mention the popular restaurant Canto next to it, where the pork ribs are super delicious and there is often a long queue. [Four] Baguio Public Market🏪 The best way to get to know a city is to visit the local market. This is a government-renovated market with vegetables and fruits, as well as many handicrafts. Be sure to pick up some. The rattan bags here are very delicate, and I heard that it takes several days to weave a bag. [Five] Harrison Road Night Market🎑 A super special feature of Baguio, open from 9 pm to 4 am, where you can eat snacks and find Baguio souvenir shirts, fridge magnets, and small bags. 🏙️West side attractions: [One] Village of Colors🌈 A colorful village inspired by Brazilian artists, beautiful and full of life, perfect for taking photos. [Two] Strawberry Farm🍓 Baguio is the strawberry capital, and you can pick strawberries here. There is no entrance fee, and it costs 300 pesos per kilogram. It is best to visit during the season, in February and March. There are many small shops where you can buy jam and fruit wine. Don't forget to try the strawberry ice cream. 🌃East side attractions: [One] Wright Park🖼️ The park has a horse farm where you can ride a horse around the mountain for 300 pesos per hour. [Two] Good Shepherd Convent🐏 Walk up the park and you will see the convent. The jam and snacks there are very famous, and locals line up to buy them. [Three] Mines View Park🏞️ You can take photos with big dogs and horses, or wear local costumes for photos. The observation deck offers beautiful mountain views.
