Balagezong is a small village that has been developed into a 4A tourist attraction. It takes about 1.5 hours by car from Dukezong Ancient Town. You can buy the entrance ticket and the car from the ancient town. The bus leaves Dukezong Ancient Town at 9:00 am at Beimen Gate. The return trip from Balagezong will leave at 5:00 pm. It cannot be later than 5:30 pm. You must be on time. Otherwise, you will have to hire a car back (but they have already charged us for the car fee). When you go inside, there will be a park bus for you to ride. The park bus will run around every stop. There will be no stop that goes directly back to the front gate. Therefore, you must be on time. Recommended route All park buses will stop at the first stop at Pala Village. Get off and walk around the village first. Then walk to the bus stop. There are 2 routes. The first bus will go to the second stop, which is the Echo Valley, Huiyingbi. If you want to play zipline, you must get off at this stop. There is also a glass bridge for taking pictures. The second car will head straight to Sambalata Fota, a pagoda-shaped mountain on a high peak. You have to pay an additional 75 yuan for the car. I recommend that if you have arrived at Palagezong, go up there. The atmosphere is nice, the wind is cool, the snow-capped mountains are beautiful, and there are yaks to ride. Front gate > Pala Village > Sambalata Fota > Echo Valley > Walk along the river and cliffs > Front gate From Echo Valley, you have to take a car and change cars 2 more times before you can return to the front gate.
