Suvarnabhumi Airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport is an airport located on Theparat Road and Burapha Withi Expressway in Nong Prue Subdistrict and Racha Thewa Subdistrict, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, approximately 25 kilometers from the center of Bangkok. It officially opened for full commercial service on September 28, 2006. Suvarnabhumi Airport is the largest airport in Thailand and has the largest number of airlines in Thailand. The government has designated Suvarnabhumi International Airport as the main airport in Thailand, replacing Don Mueang Airport, and aims to make it an aviation hub in Asia. In addition, the airport has focused on developing the quality of service so that it has been ranked among the top 10 airports with the best service quality in the world in 2010. Currently, Mr. Kittipong Kittikhajorn is the director of Suvarnabhumi Airport.
