The restaurant uses an Irori stove, which takes its time grilling. The chef will hang the fish and grill it slowly above the stove. They use Binchotan charcoal, a high-quality charcoal from Wakayama Prefecture that provides stable heat and no smoke. When you eat it, you will get a slight aroma from the charcoal. The rice is Hitomebore rice from Miyagi, cooked on Binchotan charcoal, served hot from a Hakama pot. We recommend opening the lid and scooping the rice from the bottom up to mix before scooping it into a bowl. The sticky rice is soft and delicious!!! Before the meal, start with Ikasomen, which is chewy squid with a salty, fragrant flavor. It's very delicious. Today, I tried many menus, starting with Kinki Shioyaki Set 500.- Grilled kinki fish with salt, the fish meat is very juicy and soft, grilled really well, the skin is fragrant and the meat is soft. When eating, dip it with yuzu soy sauce, the yuzu aroma is sour and salty, delicious. It comes as a set with rice, miso soup, pickled vegetables, side dishes, etc. Add 20.- to get a premium set, there will be steamed eggs that melt in your mouth, very mellow taste, and cold tofu in the set. The Yakitori set 160.- includes grilled skewers, gizzards, liver, wings, hearts, and Tsukune. I like everything, but my favorite is the Tsukune. It feels like Japanese chicken meatballs eaten with juicy egg yolks. It's so delicious. The chef grills every menu well. Bincho Tori Mori Bento 250.- is so worth it. A bento with mixed grilled chicken. It feels like charcoal. It's full in the box. Topped with egg yolks. It's even more delicious when eaten with the restaurant's dipping sauce. There's both Akamiso sauce, salty and creamy, and Bushi Bincho, rich and creamy. I love it so much. It's a sauce that makes every menu really delicious. Strawberry Daifuku 80.- is another daifuku that I would like to rank as another very delicious restaurant. The daifuku dough is thin and chewy with red beans inside. Eat it with sweet strawberries.
