Giraffe selfie! Safari World exceeded expectations!

Hey, I just went to Safari World yesterday! I drove myself into the Safari Park, and it was way more fun than I expected! I drove from Bangkok, and it was super easy. Just use Google Maps and search for "Safari World." It's located in Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok, and takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get there. The parking area is spacious and very convenient. I bought tickets in advance from their website. They offer various packages. If you want access to both the Safari Park (drive-through animal viewing) and Marine Park (animal shows and exhibits) with meals included, it costs around 800–1,100 THB per person. If you only want to visit the drive-through zone, the price is lower. I also paid an extra 200 THB for the Giraffe Terrace, where you can feed and take close-up photos with giraffes. In the Safari Park, you drive through an open zoo that spans about 8 kilometers. It’s a relaxing drive that takes around 45 minutes. The animals roam freely, and you’ll see giraffes, zebras, deer, rhinos, and even ostriches casually crossing in front of your car! There are also zones to be cautious about, like the lion and tiger areas, where the gates are securely locked since you’re entering their territory. Definitely don’t open your windows in these zones! After finishing the drive, we stopped at the highlight of the trip—the Giraffe Terrace. It’s a raised wooden platform that puts you at eye level with the giraffes. They come right up to you, some even sticking out their long tongues, which made me laugh 😂. I bought bananas and carrots to feed them and took tons of photos. It felt so close that I jokingly thought, "Am I friends with giraffes now?" 555 Next, we explored the Marine Park, which has plenty of shows like the dolphin show (super cute!), sea lion show, orangutan wrestling match, and an action-packed stunt show with explosions, water effects, and gunfire—it felt like watching a movie! The park’s atmosphere is very relaxing, with lots of greenery. You can easily spend the whole day there without getting bored. There are animal feeding zones, restaurants, drink stalls, and convenient restrooms. Operating hours: • Tuesday–Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM • Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM • Closed on Mondays I went on a weekday, and it wasn’t crowded at all. It was easy to walk around and take photos. If you’re planning to go, I highly recommend booking tickets in advance since they’re cheaper than buying at the gate. Also, go early in the morning to have enough time to enjoy both the Safari Park and Marine Park—it’s totally worth it! In summary, this trip was amazing! It felt like a refreshing escape from city life into nature. You get to drive around, see animals, take selfies with giraffes, and enjoy entertaining shows. It’s fun all day long! If you’re in Bangkok and don’t know where to go, Safari World is definitely worth it and way more enjoyable than expected!
