Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park is located near the south central axis of Beijing, referred to as "Nansen", which echoes the O'Sen in the north. Although Nansen was built not long ago, it has a profound heritage. It was originally the location of "Autumn Wind in Nanyou", one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Yanjing. Nansen takes green as its basis and builds a green ecological space where forests and water depend on each other, recreating the landscape of "Autumn Wind in the Southern Garden". There are many scenic spots in the park, including Feiyan Terrace, Spring Trail, Qingquan Garden, etc. Among them, the Flying Goose Observation Deck has now become a popular check-in spot in the imperial capital. Its total height reaches 59 meters, and the base and roof are designed in the shape of a goose flapping its wings, symbolizing the vitality and freedom of life. Standing here and looking north, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful city of the imperial capital. In addition, the Xiaolong River, a branch of the Yongding River, runs through Nansen. The water quality is relatively good and visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, camping and picnicking here. It is a rare leisure destination within the Fifth Ring Road of Beijing. Tips: On the west side of Nansen is the "Nansen Sunset Boulevard", where there is a lively fireworks market every weekend. While having fun, you can come here to taste various foods, participate in interesting activities, and experience the romantic and lively city event.
