This time I decided to visit Miaofeng Mountain in Mentougou. It is not far from the city and can be reached in about 1.5 hours, so it is not difficult to make a round trip on the same day. ⛰️Miaofeng Mountain Scenic Area is famous for its "ancient temples", "strange pines", "strange rocks" and "exotic flowers". It is 1,291 meters above sea level. According to the estimate that "the temperature drops by about 0.6℃ for every 100 meters increase in altitude", it is nearly 8℃ lower here than in the urban area. You need to wear long sleeves and long pants in autumn. 🌈Main check-in points: ✅Temple of Joy: The Temple of Joy enshrines the founder of the opera industry, Emperor Minghuang Li Longji of the Tang Dynasty. Emperor Minghuang of the Tang Dynasty once vigorously promoted the Liyuan Music Academy. He taught art and performed plays himself, and was revered as a master by people in the world. ✅Niangniang Temple: Also known as Huiji Temple, it was built in the Ming Dynasty and is the ninth batch of municipal cultural relics protection units in Beijing. It has a mountain gate, main hall, stone pagoda, etc. The stone pagoda is located in front of the main hall. It is six meters high, in the shape of a covered bowl, and made of white marble. The square base is surrounded by carvings of Vajrapani, sea water, and cliffs. ✅Yuhuangding: Yuhuangding is the last group of buildings in Miaofeng Mountain Scenic Area. Among the gods enshrined in Miaofeng Mountain Niangniang Temple, the Jade Emperor has the greatest power and the highest status, so the Jade Emperor Hall was built at the highest place. ✅Jiafu Creative Store: Umbrellas, fans, puzzles, pendants... There are all kinds of creative peripherals related to the God of Joy and the God of Wealth.
