Kirindy Forest Reserve | A day and night adventure

We took a day and night guided tour of Kirindy Forest, which was an unforgettable nature exploration experience. During the day, you can clearly observe Madagascar's unique flora and fauna, such as lively lemurs, strange-looking insects, and towering baobab trees. Although the animals are good at camouflage, we were lucky enough to see some rare species under the guidance of our experienced guide. The night tour (6:00–8:00 pm) is a completely different experience. As it got darker, the forest began to feel mysterious and full of life, and we saw several different lemurs, birds, and more in the dim light of our flashlights. It felt like going on a treasure hunt in the dark, and every discovery was a surprise. As a reminder, it is recommended to register for the night tour before 5:30 pm to ensure that you can find a tour guide. In addition, only Madagascar Ariary cash is accepted on site, and credit cards are not accepted, so be sure to prepare in advance. Kirindy Forest is a great place to discover Madagascar's wildlife and pristine nature, with different landscapes to explore during the day or at night. There are also simple accommodation and restaurants in the park, which is suitable for staying for a night and experiencing the rhythm and tranquility of the forest.
