Beppu Ropeway - Mount Tsurumi

The Beppu Ropeway is a cable car route located in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, Japan. It is the largest cable car in Kyushu, accommodating up to 101 passengers. The ride takes only 10 minutes to reach the summit of Mount Tsurumi, which stands at an elevation of 1,375 meters above sea level. From the top, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Beppu City. There is also a shrine at the summit, the Tsurumi Sanjo Gongen Shrine, where visitors can pay their respects. The shrine features statues of deities representing wisdom, power, and fortune.
