Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

#europetrip Difficult to review this place, given the horrors that led to its very existence. It feels like an art installation, and despite signage pointing out the rules for visiting, there were still brainless morons who thought climbing on the memorial or running around playing hide and seek was acceptable. It's an impersonal monument. In spite of the considerable cost involved in creating it, it still feels like it's the absolute bare minimum to mark one of the worst events of the 20th Century. Please visit with mindfulness and respect.
