BRUGGE means 'bridge' in Dutch. Bruges, also known as 'Little Venice', is a water city that retains many medieval-style old buildings. If you have enough time, you can choose the following attractions: Church of Our Lady: See Michelangelo's masterpiece (the church is free to enter, but there is a fee to see the masterpiece. Tickets can be purchased outside the church.) Belfry of Bruges: Due to the very narrow internal stairs, it can only accommodate 60 people at a time, so remember to go early (recommended before 10 am, buy tickets directly from the machine on the left at the entrance) Horse-drawn carriage tour 🐎: 70 euros per carriage, you cannot choose the horse, and it can accommodate up to 5 people, including children (the route goes around all the attractions in Bruges, about half an hour) 🚄 Transportation Brussels 🔁 Bruges One-way 17€ (about 1 hour) Ghent 🔁 Bruges One-way 7.9€ (about 30 minutes) Money-saving tips You can reuse tickets for stops along the same direction route, e.g., from Brussels to Bruges via Ghent, you can get off at Ghent, play around, and then get back on the train without buying another ticket. The same applies in the reverse direction. If you are short on time, spend half a day each in Bruges and Ghent.
