I recently visited Bukit Tinggi, and it was a delightful experience! Nestled in the highlands of West Sumatra, this charming town is known for its beautiful landscapes and rich Minangkabau culture. One of the highlights of my trip was exploring the stunning Jam Gadang, a landmark clock tower that offers great photo opportunities and a glimpse into the local architecture. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of shops and cafes where you can enjoy local delicacies. I also enjoyed visiting the traditional Minangkabau houses, which are architecturally unique with their curved roofs. The local cuisine, especially the famous Rendang and Sate Padang, was absolutely delicious and a must-try for any food lover. The serene surroundings, with lush mountains and cool weather, made it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
