Splendid views at Maingon Bay in Tasmania

This is Maingon Bay lookout in Port Arthur. It is a great place to admire the rolling rugged cliffs along the coast and the endless ocean against the backdrop of the clear blue sky. I spotted a helicopter carrying something that looks like a surfboard when I was there. Maingon Bay is just a short walk away from Remarkable Cave - another scenic spot boasting views of limestone cliffs. Location: 7182/446 Safety Cove Rd, Port Arthur TAS 7182, Australia There is a huge carpark (free) and a public toilet there. Remember to place your national park pass on your dashboard of your car as rangers do come to spot check. #createwithtrip #naturewonders #tasmania #australia
