Fall in love with the enchanting beauty of Chamonix Mont Blanc!

After an early morning train ride from our accommodation in Annecy, we arrived in Chamonix. Despite the early hour, the ticket office at the Aiguille du Midi observation deck was already bustling with activity. We printed our pre-booked multi-pass tickets and enjoyed some bread from a nearby bakery while waiting for the cable car. Mont Blanc in September is a sight to behold. Even after experiencing the full summer season, just a short ride up the cable car revealed a landscape blanketed in snow. After taking two cable cars to reach the Aiguille du Midi observation deck, we eagerly headed straight to the ticket office for the Helbronner cable car. Luckily, the Helbronner cable car was operating that day, as its schedule depends on weather conditions. We purchased tickets and boarded the cable car immediately. Though the ticket price was quite steep, the breathtaking views made it absolutely worth it. As someone from Korea, a country with four distinct seasons, I thought I was familiar with snow. However, facing the massive snow-covered mountains with their unique terrain and scale left me deeply moved by the beauty of nature. The immense glaciers and snow-covered peaks were indescribably stunning. I felt as though I could generate a million photos of the mountains, each slightly different from the last. Chamonix Mont Blanc is truly a magnificent destination. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this incredible place!
