Royal History Vibes✨

Step into Changchun’s Palace Museum of The Manchurian Regime for a journey through history! 🏛️🌞 This striking blend of Western and Chinese architecture is the former imperial home of Puyi, the Last Emperor, and its ornate halls and sunlit gardens make it as photogenic as it is fascinating. Start your visit with a stroll through the grand façade—an insta-worthy spot where the fusion of Western elegance and Chinese detail stands out against the clear sky. Snap a close-up by the carved columns (especially if there are flowers in the landscape!) before heading indoors. Don’t miss the throne room or Puyi’s living quarters, where you’ll glimpse rare artifacts and period furniture. The museum’s indoor galleries bring the turbulent history of Manchuria’s puppet regime vividly to life, with plenty to discover both inside and outdoors. Tip: Go bright and early to beat the crowds and catch the best lighting for photos. I found the outdoor spaces especially beautiful in the morning sun. 📸 If you’re seeking architectural vision shots, frame the building from below or with surrounding blooms for dramatic angles. Practical tips: The museum opens daily from 08:30 to 17:30, with ticket sales until 16:30. Located at No. 5, Guangfu North Road, Kuancheng District—easily reached from key spots in Changchun. Tickets are a steal at just 30 RMB! Precautions: There’s a fair bit of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must. Watch out for sunny glare when shooting photos outdoors, and indoor lighting can be low—adjust your settings! #changchun #palacemuseum #historytrip #architecture #culturaljourney #hellohalloween

Palace Museum of The Manchurian Regime

20250820 Puppet Manchukuo Imperial Palace Museum From emperor to commoner, Puyi's eventful life. This place was more luxurious than I had imagined. The imprisoned emperor had his own piano room, billiard room, garden, air-raid shelter, horse racing stables, and countless meeting rooms, living in a miniature Western-style palace. The courtyard where Puyi's sister and her family lived was elegant and quiet, and was where Puyi hid his private funds. The natural colors of the ancient ruins are evident. Despite living in such a luxurious environment, he was under constant surveillance. Even as a commoner, he still couldn't escape the fate of being the target of widespread scrutiny. What a sad fate!
